After the 18 th national congress of Chinese communist Party was held,our Party takes high moral values establishment and people cultivation as fundamental task of education,and takes great pains to build a complete system of moral education.The moral and legal course in junior school is as a professional curriculum of moral education,the professional level of teachers in this course determines the quality of moral education to some extent.Therefore,the case study for the backbone teacher,as the leader of teaching body,has the great significance to new teachers,ordinary teachers and even the promotion of moral education.The paper adopts the case study in qualitative research,and selects a provincial backbone teacher M of moral and rule of law course in junior middle school as the research object.At first,after having insight into teacher M by the means of a long-time interview and close observation,this paper will present the professional development process and story of backbone teacher M.On the one hand,vertical professional development stages are sorted out in chronological order;on the other hand,horizontal stories and states of professional development are presented in each stage.Then based on the above,this paper mainly analyse the factors of promoting the professional development of the teacher M from the internal and external aspects.Finally,this paper analyse the enlightenment of the teacher M's professional development from four aspects: professional knowledge,professional ability,professional concept and external environment,and hopes that it will provide new ideas of teacher's professional development for more teachers of moral and rule of law course in junior middle school.
