Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the importance of safeguarding the interests of vulnerable groups.The Chinese dream is a national dream,a national dream,a dream of every Chinese,and a dream of every disabled friend.To do a good job in helping vulnerable groups to achieve social equity and promote social harmony.Down syndrome children,referred to as Tang Bao for short,as a kind of children with mental retardation,have caused certain psychological burden and economic pressure to the family,but the public know little about Tang Bao.At present,the related research in academia mainly focuses on medical and educational fields,focusing on Tang Bao's rehabilitation,psychological development,education and other aspects,but there are few studies on peer relationship of this special group.From the perspective of ecosystem theory,this study attempts to conduct an empirical study on the peer relationship of Down syndrome children.Using qualitative research methods,eight Tangbao in P city are taken as the research objects,and two representative Tangbao are taken as case studies.From the perspective of ecosystem theory,firstly,collecting relevant information,observing Tang Bao's peer interaction on the spot,interviewing Tang Bao's family,teachers,workers in his community,and understanding policy and other relevant information to the staff of the Municipal Disabled Persons Federation;secondly,collating information,mainly on Tang Bao's SXX,LB and the peer interaction reflected by the systems around them.At last,it emphasizes the necessity of social work intervention,and puts forward relevant suggestions for each system to jointly promote the development of Tang Bao's peer relationship and prepare for better integration into the collective society in the future.
