With the rapid development of digital technology,digital reading has gradually become a new way of reading and cognition.Digital reading uses digital technology as a carrier,which is open in the reading environment,interactive in the reading process,diversified in the reading content,and fragmented in the reading process.At present,digital reading has been widely used in the field of education and teaching,especially in Chinese teaching,which has obvious advantages.In the process of applying digital reading to primary school students' Chinese learning,on the one hand,it broadens the knowledge of primary school students,which is conducive to the study,transfer and integration of students' Chinese knowledge;on the other hand,primary school students are not strong enough in self-control of digital equipment,if used improperly,it will be counterproductive.In view of this,this paper will investigate the current situation of the application of digital reading in primary school students' language learning,find out the existing problems and put forward corresponding optimization strategies.On the basis of referring to the relevant research results,the author uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the current situation of the application of digital reading in primary school students' Chinese learning from the four aspects of reading attitude,content,application methods and application effects,taking the fourth to sixth grade students of G and W primary schools in Wuhan as the object of investigation.In addition,some teachers' attitudes and opinions on the application of digital reading to primary school students' language learning are obtained through interviews.The results of the above two aspects show that the application of digital reading has a significant role in promoting primary school students' language learning.The attitude of students and teachers towards digital reading is more positive,and the content of reading is more extensive.The application of digital reading is conducive to the stimulation of interest in Chinese learning and the formation of good reading habits.The shortcomings are as follows: single access to and application of digital reading resources,weak self-control of students,insufficient concentration,inadequate equipment of digital reading equipment,imperfect evaluation mechanism for reading effect,conservative attitude of teachers and parents,etc.Then the causes of the problems are analyzed from three aspects: school factor,student factor and family factor,and the optimization suggestions are put forward.For schools,we need to change teachers' concepts,pay attention to the development of school-based curriculum while purchasing digital reading resources;for students,we need to give full play to students' subjective initiative in reading,change reading concepts,clearly recognize the purpose of reading,and strengthen the choice of information analysis and thinking.For parents,students should be given proper digital reading guidance and support,control reading time,and strive to create a good family learning atmosphere.The research results of this paper have certain reference value for training pupils to form good language learning and reading habits,improving students' language learning effect and promoting the rational use of digital reading in pupils' language learning.
