Since the discovery of the first case of AIDS in the United States in 1981,it has been nearly forty years. In the past 40 years, although the progress in the medical field has advanced by leaps and bounds, many problems have been overcome, but for AIDS patients,we can only extend their survival, improve the quality of their lives, but can not really defeat the disease. Therefore, for AIDS,the importance of prevention is even greater than that of treatment. It is the most critical to block the spread of the virus from its roots.High-risk groups are the focus of HIV prevention work.In high-risk groups,MSM(men who have sex with men)is the highest risk of infection,27 times that of the general population. In the MSM group,high-risk sexual behaviors in the two main forms of unprotected anal sex and multiple sexual partners are the main routes of HIV transmission. For these two approaches,it is the easiest to achieve physical barriers by using condoms.Line of precautions.Although it is now possible to prevent AIDS by taking pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)drugs, the importance of using condoms to help MSM people prevent other sexually transmitted diseases and prevent primary drug resistance is self-evident.It is a very effective way to read the AIDS epidemic status and prevention methods in terms of increasing the willingness of condoms in MSM populations and promoting their condom use behavior. So far,China's research on AIDS-related health information is still quite lacking, only staying at the effectiveness of different characterization methods, and few people take into account the form of information and individual traits and status.Although the West has conducted a lot of research on the frame effect and personal motivation characteristics in health information, even in the same cultural context, even the same meaning of information is different in people's persuasiveness. Therefore,in the cultural context of our country,it is necessary to explore how to express information in the most effective way,and what kind of information is most effective for people of different traits. In addition, understanding disease-related information does not necessarily translate into behavior. In the MSM population in China, there is still a phenomenon of “separation of knowing and doing”.It is especially important to explore and study the intermediaries between knowledge and behavior to solve the problem of inconsistency among the people. The use of condoms in selfefficacy is an important factor between knowledge and behavior. It refers to the extent to which individuals believe that they can use condoms in their sexual behaviors, and that condoms use self-efficacy and promote individual safety.Related.However,in China, the part of the MSM community that uses self-efficacy in condoms is still blank.Based on the above background, this study recruited MSM participants by snowballing through a web platform, and explored the impact of the information framework and the “congruency” effect on the self-efficacy of MSM community condoms.Among them, the congruency effect refers to the best effect achieved when the individual's approach/avoidance motivation valence is consistent with the information frame valence.Through literature review,it is found that the approach/avoidance motivation may affect the self-efficacy of condom use by adjusting the relationship between the information framework and the individual's evaluation of information quality.Among them, experiment 1 used the method of single factor test room design, and compared the information quality score,AIDS knowledge awareness rate score, and condom self-efficacy score of control group and experimental group after reading information materials.Experiment 2 uses the two-factor design of 2(revenue frame/loss framework)× 2(proximity of motivation/avoidance motivation)to adjust the approach/avoidance motivation state between information frame and information quality. And the quality of information is analyzed by the mediating role between the information framework and the use of self-efficacy in condoms.Since the approach/avoidance motivation can also be the state triggered by the scenario,Experiment 3 initiated the different motivation states of the subjects through color exposure, and analyzed the potential mechanism of the consistency effect again.Experimental results show:1.Reading the current status of AIDS epidemic and the use of condoms can improve the HIV knowledge awareness rate of the participants, but only the information under the income framework can enhance the self-efficacy of the condoms used by the participants;2.The approach/avoidance motivation trait does not play a regulatory role between the information framework and the quality of information or condom use self-efficacy.In general, information quality is not an intermediary between information framework and condom use self-efficacy.3.Red initiates the subject's approaching motivation state, while blue initiates the subject's avoidance motivation state, and the motivational state plays a regulatory role between the information framework and the information quality, which is manifested as the avoidance motivation under the loss framework. The information quality score of the participants was higher than that of the approaching motivation. There was no significant difference in the information quality scores of the two motivational status subjects under the income framework. Finally, the quality of information mediates the use of self-efficacy in information frameworks and condoms.
