From 2016 to 2020,it is a crucial period for building a well-off society in an all-round way.To build a well-off society in an all-round way,we must first realize the transformation of economic growth mode, and secondly,we must narrow the income gap and improve people's living standards.Whether it is economic transformation or narrowing the wage gap,its essential elements are people.Economic development mainly depends on the improvement of human capital quality. The narrowing of the wage gap depends on the optimization of the labor market structure. As the main output of China's high-skilled labor force, higher education undertakes the main task of improving the quality of human capital and optimizing the structure of labor.Since the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities in 1999,China's human capital stock has been greatly improved. However,in terms of comprehensive economic development demand and human capital supply, higher education should gradually change from quantitative development to qualitative improvement, not only to maintain the human capital stock. There is also a need to pay extra attention to the structure of highly skilled human capital to make the highly skilled workforce more responsive to market economy needs. Therefore,in order to give full play to the role of talent training in higher education in China and to enhance the market-oriented external benefits of higher education, this paper chooses from the perspective of the relative supply of labor, combined with the needs of the labor market, builds a measurement model, and builds a skill premium decision equation. The China Comprehensive Social Survey Data(CGSS)conducts a lag panel regression analysis to study the impact of different majors on higher education skills premiums from 2004 to 2014,exploring the factors affecting the skill premium from the perspective of higher education professional division, and enriching the areas of influence factors of skill premium.the study. The regression results show that the changes in the supply of high-skilled labor in agriculture, forestry, science, medicine, and education are inversely related to the skill premium, that is,the professional structure of higher education in China is negative for the skill premium by affecting the relative supply of skilled labor. To influence. In order to find a suitable structure for higher education in different regions and an effective development path,so that higher education policies can be adapted to local conditions and meet the needs of regional economic development,China will be divided into three economic zones: the western, central and eastern regions, and regression analysis will be conducted again to further study the higher education. The impact and differences in the structure of education expertise on skill premiums in different economic zones. The results show that the negative correlation between agriculture and forestry and medical professions and skill premiums is more pronounced in the eastern region, while the negative impact of education and humanities on skill premiums is more pronounced in the western region.
