| High school is an important stage of individual development,In recent years,the mental health of high school students have been widespread concern in the community,and Interpersonal adaptation is an important aspect of high school students' mental health.To effectively improve students' interpersonal adaptability,we need to pay attention not only to the individual's psychological characteristics,but also to the situational factors that affect the growth of students.In this study,648 high school students from Lianyungang City were recruited to investigate the relationship among self-construal,resilience and interpersonal adaptation by Relational-Interdependent Self-Construal Scale,the Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent and Interpersonal Adaptability Scale.This research not only provides a new perspective and some suggestions for the formation of good resilience and interpersonal adaptation in high school students,but also offers some theoretical basis for the improvement of their mental health education and mental health level.Results are as below:(1)Recently the overall interpersonal adaptation of high school students in China is well-developed.There is significant difference in gender.(2)The self-construal has a significant impact on interpersonal adaptation.The self-construal in high school students is an important factor affecting their interpersonal adaptation.Both independent-self and interdependent-self have positive effects on interpersonal adaptation.The level of resilience has a significant influence on the interpersonal adaptation of high school students.The resilience is an important factor that affects their interpersonal adaptation.The resilience plays a steady role in promoting the formation of interpersonal adaptation in high school students.Self-construal has significant influence on the resilience of high school students.Self-construal plays an important factor that influences the resilience of high school students.Self-construal has positive impact on the formation of the resilience in high school students.(3)High school students' self-construal can significantly and positively predict resilience and interpersonal adaptation.(4)Self-construal and resilience both influence the interpersonal adaptation of high school students.Resilience plays a partial mediating role between self-construct and interpersonal adaptation.Different self-construal ultimately affect interpersonal adaptation through resilience. |
