Research On The Social Responsibility Consciousness Of College Students In The New Era

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that attention should be paid to strengthen “the consciousness of social responsibility,the consciousness of rules and the consciousness of dedication.” Standing at a new historical juncture,General Secretary Xi has endowed the “social responsibility consciousness” with a new connotation of the new era.The social responsibility consciousness of undergraduates in the new era not only is related to the rise and decline of the socialist cause,the future of the country and the destiny of the nation,but also has a profound impact on the healthy growth and success of college students.Therefore,strengthening the social responsibility consciousness of undergraduates in the new era has become an important issue that cannot be ignored in building a harmonious society.This study consists of four parts: the introduction part explains the background and research significance of the thesis of social responsibility awareness,and reviews relevant researches at home and abroad.The second part begins with the concept of responsibility as the logical starting point,gradually clears about the concept and contents of the new era of undergraduates' social responsibility consciousness,bases on general guidance on the theory of Marxism related responsibilities,acquires consciousness of responsibility contained in traditional Chinese culture,the theory of responsibility came from the communist party of China and the essence of Xi jinping's view on youth responsibility in the new era,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the research of the full text.Third part adopts questionnaire to make a surveyinvolving seven universities in China about the social responsibility consciousness and behavior of college students.Combining with the useful information collected,and basing on predecessors' research achievements,the study sums up the main problems existing in the new era of undergraduates in the aspect of social responsibility consciousness,and deeply analyses the cause of the weakness of social responsibility consciousness.The fourth part puts forward to corresponding countermeasures to the existing problems of undergraduates' social responsibility consciousness in the new era.Finally,the conclusion mainly reviews and reflects on the achievements and shortcomings of this thesis during the research,and points out some problems needed to be solved urgently,which also provides a reference for future studies.
