In recent years,the communication and exchanges between China and Thailand have become increasingly close.The Thai government has attached more and more importance to Chinese language teaching,and there are many schools have opened Chinese language courses.Teachers,students and teaching materials constitute a complete teaching process,and teaching materials are the bridge to connect teachers and students,it's self-evident that this is very important.the "HANYUJIAOCHENG" and "CHUJIHANYU" student textbook are written by China and Thailand,Its particularly suited to Thailand's high school students.It's excellent teaching materials,a large circulation,the use of a large number of people,is now Thailand's representative two sets of Chinese teaching materials.In this paper,the author chooses these two sets of teaching materials as the research objects,and makes a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences in teaching materials arrangement,vocabulary,grammar and exercises,in order to find the shortcomings and issue of these two sets of teaching materials,and tries to improve these two sets of teaching materials and puts forward some Suggestions for the compilation of Thai-Chinese teaching materials in the future.Based on the comparative analysis method and questionnaire survey,this paper finds out the results based on the textbooks of "HANYUJIAOCHENG" and "CHUJIHANYU" used by Thais.This paper studies and analyzes the two sets of textbooks from five aspects: first,the way of arrangement,the way of arrangement of new words,the phonetic arrangement of texts,the survey of arrangement,etc.,to be aware of student view on the arrangement of textbooks.Second.Compare the total vocabulary of the two sets of textbooks,study the difficulty of vocabulary and vocabulary survey,and find out the results of vocabulary comparison.Third.Total comparison of grammar and annotation points,analysis of sentences,distribution of grammar and annotation,investigation of grammar,etc.Fourth.Comparison of the total number of exercises,types of exercises,contents of exercises and investigation of exercises in the two sets of textbooks.Finally,teachers and students are asked to evaluate the two sets of teaching materials.From the comments,we can see teachers' and students' views on elementary Chinese and Chinese course.It can be found from the following five aspects that the textbook "CHUJIHANYU" is much more popular with Thai students,because it has Thai translation and enables them to understand vocabulary and grammar.In terms of practice questions,there are many practice questions in "CHUJIHANYU",and the types of practice questions are not very rich.Therefore,students have little interest in practice questions in this textbook.Judging from the comments on the textbook,the teachers believe that the textbook "HANYUJIAOCHENG" is more suitable for Thai students to learn Chinese.The English translation of vocabulary makes students work harder to prepare new words in order to improve their Chinese proficiency,but they also hope to have a Thai translation in grammar in order to make students understand the usage of grammar better.The compilation of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language(TCSL)is still in its infancy,so it is necessary for professional Chinese teachers and textbook writers to constantly strengthen the comparative study of Chinese and the corresponding foreign languages,and to strengthen international cooperation.This paper hopes to point out the advantages and the need for improvement of the two sets of textbooks,which can promote the continuous progress of the compilation of Chinese textbooks.
