With the continuous reform of mathematics curriculum,from the appearance of "intuitive teaching" in the syllabus,to becoming one of the core concepts,to forming "intuitive imagination" with spatial imagination,it has become one of the six core qualities of students in mathematics.Geometric intuition shows both a kind of ability and a kind of core accomplishment,which shows its importance in the current educational background.In the current relevant research,more attention has been paid to the meaning of geometric intuition,problem solving in primary school and teaching strategies.Although there has been more research and progress in relevant evaluation,the research on middle school students' geometric intuition is not deep enough,resulting in the lack of some practical research results as support in the evaluation and evaluation of geometric intuition.Based on the above considerations and the combing of relevant documents,this study selects the evaluation indexes in Zhang Heping's primary school students' geometric visual ability evaluation model to prepare the eighth grade students' geometric visual ability test questions,and uses the methods of literature analysis,education test,interview and classroom observation to evaluate 280 eighth grade students of YF Middle School in Tianshui City,Gansu Province.Through descriptive statistical analysis of the test results,combined with interviews with some tested students and teachers with rich experience in digital teaching,it is concluded that the main obstacles in the formation of students' geometric intuitive ability are:(1)students' low sense of figure;(2)paying little attention to the geometric background of algebraic knowledge;(3)students' analysis ability is not strong;(4)Students lack the discovery,understanding and memory of intuitive models.(5)Teachers' awareness of cultivating students' geometric intuitive ability is weak.At last,the current situation of eighth-grade students' geometric intuition ability is summarized as follows:(1)eighth-grade students' geometric intuition ability is at a medium level;(2)The eighth grade students have a strong understanding of graphics;(3)The eighth grade students' ability to analyze problems with graphs is weak.On the basis of the theoretical research results and practical experience of some experts and teachers,this study puts forward the following strategies to cultivate students' geometric intuitive ability:(1)pay attention to drawing,drawing recognition and drawing training to cultivate students' sense of drawing;(2)Strengthen practical operation and cultivate students' space concept;(3)paying attention to solving more than one problem and developing students' analytical ability;(4)Infiltrate mathematics culture to increase teaching interest;(5)Pay attention to the concept of geometric intuitiveness and renew the teaching concept.
