Geometric intuition is a new core concept in Mathematics Standard of compulsory course(2011 Edition),which is an effective way of thinking and one of the basic abilities needed in junior middle school mathematics learning.Only by paying attention to the cultivation of students' geometric intuitive ability and helping students develop their mathematical thinking,can students' mathematical literacy be improved in an all-round way.In order to improve the level of students' geometric intuitive ability more effectively,it is necessary to understand the current situation of the development of students' geometric intuitive ability,so as to carry out teaching in a targeted way.Based on the theoretical research on the ability of geometric intuition,this paper divides geometric intuition into four forms: physical intuition,simple symbol intuition,substitute intuition and graphic intuition,and compiles a test paper to know facts and simple skills,connection and application rules,reasoning and problem solving.It combines quantitative research and qualitative research with the help of S Pss25.0 analyzes the current situation of the development of geometry intuitive ability of seventh grade students.Some of the students who participated in the test and the mathematics teachers in the test class were interviewed to analyze the cognitive process of students' solving the problems related to geometric intuition,the teachers' understanding of geometric intuition and its application in teaching.By using the methods of literature analysis,test investigation and interview,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.The geometric intuitionistic ability of grade 7 students has basically reached the requirements of mathematics standards for compulsory courses.The overall level is at an intermediate level.2.There is no obvious difference in the proportion and balance of the different forms of the geometric intuitive ability of grade 7 students in each level,but in the level 3,the physical intuitive performance is better.3.The development level of geometric intuition of grade 7 students is significantly correlated with their math scores,and the correlation between parallel classes is higher;There is no significant difference between the two genders,that is,the level of geometric intuition has nothing to do with gender.4.It can be concluded from the interviews of students that students' geometric intuitive ability is closely related to the breadth and depth of thinking,flexibility,agility and creativity.5.Most of the teachers' understanding of geometric intuition is relatively simple and one-sided,but they are willing to participate in research and learning,and improve their own geometric intuitive literacy.
