Biology is a natural science based on observation and experiment.Experiment plays an irreplaceable role in biology and the development and utilization of experiment course resources has a strong influence on biology teaching. With the ongoing curriculum reform,in its depth, breadth, systematic ness and its practical application experimental curriculum resources can not meet the requirements of current biology teaching in senior high schools. In addition, the extension and intension of curriculum resources have changed,so teachers are faced with new challenge. This paper investigates the current situation of biology teaching in senior high school by means of questionnaire and field investigation. And finds that there are mainly four problems in present biology experiment courses:(1)the rate of experimental courses is low;(2)some students and teachers do not have a thorough understanding of the experimental courses;(3)the classroom form is monotonous and the teaching effect is not good;(4)the local experiment course resources are less developed and utilized by teachers. These problems have deeply influenced the development of biology experiment teachingBased on the literature review and survey analysis, the researcher finds that the biology experiment teaching can get enriched by improving the development of local biological resources, the utilization of science history, the use of network and school bulletin boards, and extra-curriculum biological activities. For the development and utilization of the biology experiment curriculum resources, the researcher puts forward some principles and methods based on the high school biology curriculum standard2017,and the basic idea of developing students' core literacy in biology.Following the principles of scientificity, openness and adaptation to local conditions, resources can get developed and utilized by means of setting objectives and subjects, exploring and determining course resources and compiling the course contents. After analyzing and screening, the researcher selects course resources familiar to students as the experimental material, and designs the study combining the materials with high school biology textbook.Taking rapeseed as teaching materials, this case study determines four subjects:(1)the life activities of plants are regulated by many factors,so please explore the influence of external environment has on the dormancy, germination and growth of rapeseed;(2)observe some physiological phenomena in the growingperiod of rapeseed based on the basic structure and metabolism of cells;(3)make an in-depth understanding of rape flower from the perspective of cell structure and growth process;(4)put forward some methods of preventing rape pests and disposing rape straw from the perspective of ecosystem homeostasis and ecological agriculture. Each subject consists of a series of related contents. This design starts with the students' prior knowledge, which not only consolidates what they have learned, but also carries out new experimental courses in combination with the actual teaching environment and experimental materials.Taking the resources familiar to students as the course contents can enable more students to participate in the experimental class and feel the charm of biology,so as to cultivate students' ability of scientific inquiry and scientific thinking. It also enables students to further understand the concept of structure and function, the concept of matter and energy, which can indirectly affect their view of life.In the practical operation of the experiment, students' ability to solve practical problems and their sense of social responsibility get improved, and finally the fundamental task of moral cultivation can be fulfilled.
