With the continuous advancement of basic education reform,more and more educators begin to realize the individual differences of educational objects and the importance of meeting students' different needs.However,in the current reality of collective teaching in the large class in our country,many teachers still use solid teaching organization form,single teaching method and "step by step" progress to carry out teaching activities,which only teaches according to students' commonalities and ignores the differences of students' individual,and is not conducive to the full play of students' potential.Differential teaching with the aim of "starting from students' differences,implementing differentiated teaching,and developing differentiated students" emerged as the times require.It is of great significance to study the practice of differential teaching for all students and promote their development.This research chooses J Middle School as the research field,takes mathematics as the carrier,combs the literature of differential teaching,and comprehensively uses the research methods of test,interview and observation to study the practice of differential teaching in sample school.On the basis of practical research,this paper analyses the problems encountered in the practice of differential teaching and puts forward corresponding suggestions for improvement.This research is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly describes the origin of the research,the purpose and significance of the research,the definition of related concepts and the literature review.The second part is the research design.It mainly introduces the research ideas,research objects and research methods.The third part is the starting stage of the differential teaching practice.It mainly describes the preliminary preparation work of the differential teaching practice.The fourth part is the differential teaching implementation.Four classes in grade two of J Middle School are selected as cases to carry on the practice exploration from three aspects:pre-class,in-class and after-class,including designing differentiated teaching before class,implementing differentiated teaching in classand assigning differentiated homework after class.The effect of differential teaching is tested and analyzed at the end of the semester.The fifth part is the reflection and summary stage of the differential teaching practice.Focusing on the two aspects of "teaching" and "learning",we will reflect on the practice.The sixth part is the research conclusion and improvement suggestion.To sort out the practice process of differential teaching and reflect on the problems and shortcomings of practice,some suggestions are put forward from the aspects of "attaching importance to students' differences;improving the design of differential teaching;adopting various teaching methods to control the teaching process rationally;intensifying teaching and research efforts to improve teachers' quality;perfecting the evaluation mechanism and improving the safeguard measures".
