Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of rehabilitation training on the function and morphology of the elite athlete following anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstruction. Methods: Seven athletes(4 males and 3 females)were selected, including 5first-level athletes and 2 national elite athletes, aged 17-25 years. The athletes are led by the rehabilitation teacher to strictly implement the rehabilitation training program. The training program starts from 2 to 3 weeks after the operation. The rehabilitation training program is 24 weeks and consists of four phases: 1.Swelling and fascia combing;2.Joint proprioception and muscle strength recovery;3.Daily function recovery of the knee joint;4.Return to normal exercise. In this study,IKDC score, joint stability, joint range of motion, hip joint muscle strength, knee joint muscle strength, core muscle strength and thigh circumference were performed at different time points(w0,w4,w8,w12,w16,w20 and w24)of interventional rehabilitation training, respectively. After the completion of 24 weeks of rehabilitation training,single-leg jump test was conducted. Results: After 24 weeks of rehabilitation training, except for IKDC scores w20 ?w24,there were significant differences at other time points,p <0.05,of which the increase was greatest during w8 ? w12;All of the test results of joint stability were negative at each time point. The reconstructed side joint activity of the athletes was significantly improved compared with that before the experiment, and the difference was very significant,p <0.01,of which the largest increase was from w2?w10 after operation. In addition to the core extension force,There was a significant improvement of the muscle strength around the joints was involved during rehabilitation from w8?w16,with significant differences,p <0.05;athletes had a different degree of atrophy on the reconstructed side of thighs before interventionalrehabilitation training, and had the largest difference in rehabilitation training w8.After the rehabilitation training, the reconstructed side thigh circumference was still smaller than the healthy side. Conclusion: 1.The rehabilitation training adopted in this research is beneficial to athletes' early recovery of knee joint mobility and joint muscle strength, and can help athletes return to sports as soon as possible.2.In the early stage of interventional rehabilitation training(w0?w8),it is the best time to restore knee joint mobility.Athletes' joint adhesion and swelling should be eliminated as soon as possible to maintain joint muscle strength and reduce the adverse effects caused by postoperative complications.3.During the period of w8?w16 of interventional rehabilitation training,it is the best period to restore the muscle strength and daily function of the knee joint.Recommendation: After returning to the team, athletes should continue to focus on improving the muscle strength of the hamstrings and quadriceps muscles to further improve the coordination and stability of the lower extremities;in the process of developing rehabilitation training,we must combine athletes 'specifics and formulate special trainings that meet the athletes' interests.Actions, increase the diversity and fun of rehabilitation training actions;during the execution of rehabilitation training, the rehabilitation teacher should strictly require athletes according to the movement standards to ensure the effectiveness of rehabilitation training.
