In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economic level,people's living standards continue to improve,their physical health has been more and more attention.Swimming sports can promote the function of respiratory system and cardiovascular system to improve,enhance the ability to resist diseases,conducive to the physical development of children and other characteristics,deeply loved by people.Under this background,summer swimming training for children develops rapidly.More and more parents send their children to training classes to learn swimming.However,the traditional teaching methods used in summer swimming training for children cannot guarantee the quality of teaching.Therefore,it is necessary to innovate on the basis of traditional teaching methods and expand more teaching ideas.According to the characteristics of 7-9 years old children,this study selects "competition teaching method" for teaching experiment,aiming to explore the influence of "competition teaching method" on children's breaststroke teaching,so as to provide certain reference for improving the quality of breaststroke teaching and innovating breaststroke teaching methods.The research mainly uses literature data method,experimental method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and other methods.60 experimental students aged 7-9 who enrolled in Nanjing Junbo Swimming Training were selected as experimental subjects,of which 30 were in the experimental group and 30 were in the control group.The experimental group was taught by competition teaching method,while the control group was conducted by traditional teaching method.teaching.A teaching experiment was conducted for each phase of the course,and relevant indicators were tested and recorded before and after the experiment.According to the needs of the research,the collected data were analyzed for differences using independent sample t-test and chi-square test.The experimental results are as follows:1.The experimental group using competition teaching method in the breaststroke technique score,the mean of breaststroke distance and 25 m breaststroke speed were higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant.2.The average learning interest score of the experimental group after the experiment is higher than that before the experiment,and the difference is statistically significant;the difference of the average learning interest score of the control group before and after the experiment is not statistically significant;The experimental group scored higher and the difference was statistically significant.3.The mean scores of affective performance and cooperative spirit after the experiment were higher than those before the experiment,and the difference was statistically significant;the difference between the mean values of emotional performance and cooperative spirit after the experiment and the mean score before the experiment in the control group was not statistically significant;In the comparison of the mean scores of affective performance and cooperative spirit between the latter two groups,the mean scores of the experimental group were higher,and the difference was statistically significant.4.In the comparison of physical indicators,after the experiment,the mean values of the “weight” and “spirometry” of the students in the experimental group were statistically significant compared with those before the experiment.The weight was reduced and the vital capacity was increased.The significance of the difference in the "body weight" mean between the two groups after the experiment was statistically significant,and the mean weight of the experimental group was lower.The conclusion is as follows:1.Reasonable use of competition teaching method is conducive to improving the teaching quality of children's breaststroke training in summer.2.The application of competition teaching method can activate the atmosphere of the class,stimulate the enthusiasm of the students to learn,and enhance the students' interest in the breaststroke project.3.In the competition teaching method,the way of group competition is helpful to cultivate the cooperation spirit of the students,the ability of emotion regulation and the strong will quality.However,coaches should pay attention to the evaluation methods of the results of the competition.4.To a certain extent,the competition teaching method improves the intensity of learning,making the effect of students in improving vital capacity and reducing weight more obvious.
