The characteristics of chemistry subject are based on experiment to determine the irreplaceable nature of Chemistry Experiment Teaching in Middle School Chemistry Education.Experimental teaching plays an irreplaceable role in improving the quality of chemistry teaching and carrying out the teaching goal of cultivating students' scientific literacy.However,from the reality of the low basic skills of chemistry experiment of the students enrolled in chemistry-related major every year in our College,we have been prompted to explore the possible causes of this result in the current middle school chemistry teaching process,the purpose of which is to make further suggestions for the possible problems.Based on this starting point,the work of this paper is based on the 2017 edition of the general high school chemistry curriculum standard.On the basis of the investigation of the students in the four grades of chemistry major and applied chemistry major in our college on the study situation of chemistry experiment course during the middle school period,combined with the investigation and analysis of the statistical data of education resources of each middle school in XX City,and randomly selected students and chemistry teachers from different levels of middle school in XX City.The opening rate of students' experiments,the students' understanding and learning attitude of chemistry experiment courses,and the evaluation methods of chemistry experiment involve the parameters of school,teachers and students' participation in chemistry experiment courses.For the data obtained from the survey,the SPSS statistics software is used to analyze and summarize,and the possible problems of schools,teachers and students at different levels in the process of "chemistry experiment teaching in middle school" are obtained,and some superficial improvement strategies and suggestions are put forward for different problems.The results show that the hardware condition of chemical laboratory can meet the national standard.However,there are different degrees of problems in the implementation and learning of chemistry experiment teaching in schools,teachers and students at different levels.Based on the clear requirements of the 2017 edition of the general high school chemistry curriculum standard issued by the state for the middle school chemistry experiment teaching,it is found that the problems existing in the chemistry experiment teaching process of different levels of schools in XX city are slightly different,but the representative manifestations are the serious lack of attention to “Chemistry Experiment Teaching” in schools,the low rate of students' experiment opening generally,the shortage of full-time Laboratory technicians in schools,the problems of laboratory instruments and reagents in individual schools,the lack of effective evaluation methods for teachers' teaching and students' learning chemistry experiments.Aiming at the problems in the teaching of chemistry experiment in different levels of schools in XX city,the following suggestions are put forward for reference only:(1)The school should strengthen the construction of chemistry laboratory,fully equipped with qualified full-time chemical experimenters,timely supplement of experimental instruments and reagents to ensure that the students' experiments required by the curriculum standard can be successfully opened;(2)Try to make the students' chemistry experiment into the curriculum,check the rate of teachers' experiment opening,and establish the evaluation method of chemistry experiment including teachers and students' effective evaluation;(3)Teachers should make continuous use of the Internet in their work,and actively promote in practice the contents of experiments such as Mini-Expert Family Experiment,Interesting Experiment,Green Experiment and Virtual Simulation Technology in practice,so as to continuously enhance students' interest in chemical experiments and enhance their self-confidence and ability in chemical practice.At the end of the article gives some of their own Reflection and Prospects.
