| Social media is a tool and platform for users to share their opinions,experiences and views.It has become the center of users' life in the new media era.Social media at this stage mainly includes social networking sites,weibo,We Chat,blogs,forums and so on.College students,as energetic and willing to try new things,play an important role in the use of social media.At the same time,college students are under great pressure in study,life,employment and other aspects.Therefore,the expression of emotions is very important.The expression of positive emotions is conducive to enhancing feelings and creating more harmonious interpersonal relationships.In this paper,college students were taken as the research objects,and the method of stratified sampling was adopted to distribute 500 questionnaires in four colleges and universities in henan province(two first-class universities and two second-class universities).Finally,467 questionnaires were collected,with 402 valid questionnaires.Selecting We Chat friends circle,and sina weibo,Using the positive and negative emotion scale(PANAS scale)compiled by Watson et al.,and verified by Huang Li et al.,descriptive statistics and regression analysis were conducted by SPSS software,to explore the phenomenon of emotional expression of college students' social media and the use of social media(including circle of friends,the degree of use,use of motivation,use behavior bias)effects on emotional expression.The study found that college students' emotional expression on social media was biased.In general,college students tend to express positive emotions on social media;In terms of emotional expression platform preference,college students tend to express negative emotions through sina weibo rather than We Chat circle of friends.When exploring the influencing factors of emotional expression preference,it was found that the circle of friends,daily use time and interaction motivation positively affected the positive emotional expression of college students,while the emotional motivationnegatively affected the positive emotional expression of college students.On the platform,daily use frequency,emotional motivation and Posting behavior positively affect college students' negative emotion expression on weibo;daily use time positively affects college students' negative emotion expression in their circle of friends;emotional motivation negatively affects college students' negative emotion expression in their circle of friends.According to the research findings,this paper discusses the following three issues:(1)the expansion of college students' emotional expression channels and their reasons;(2)the preference of social media emotional expression and its platform selection from the perspective of impression management;(3)emotional expression bias and platform selection of social media under the theory of strong and weak relationship.In view of the current situation of college students' emotional expression,this paper proposes guidance strategies for college students' emotional expression from three aspects: school,society and college students themselves,so as to help college students face up to their various emotions and choose a rational way to express their emotions. |
