Regional activities are an important part of children's daily activities in kindergarten.Children have rich experience through independent selection, operation materials and activity sharing. At the same time, regional activities are also the main way for teachers to implement education for children.During this period, teachers timely implement individual education for different children's development levels,so it is extremely important for teachers to make correct guidance. There is no doubt that teachers must observe children's behavior to keenly capture the development needs of different children, and on this basis to carry out effective education for children. However,in recent years, many studies have pointed out that the present situation of preschool teachers' observation ability is not optimistic, and many teachers have many problems in the observation. In regional activities, teachers' observation ability is in urgent need of improvement.Only teachers with observation ability can provide appropriate guidance for children through effective observation, and constantly improve their professional ability through summary and reflection. Therefore, this study takes regional activities as a starting point to explore how to improve teachers' observation ability in practice. This study adopted the paradigm of action research to conduct among six teachers in a kindergarten in Henan province, and used COR Advantage to provide references for action research,so as to improve teachers' observation ability in regional activities. In addition,a variety of methods were used to collect relevant data in the research: physical analysis was used to analyze the observation records written by teachers; The observation method is used to find out the factors affecting teachers' observation and the problems existing in teachers' observation.Interview method is used to further understand teachers' views on their own observation ability. The questionnaire method was used to measure the observation ability of teachers before and after the study.Through three stages of action research, the observation ability of teachers in the group has been greatly improved: from the random observation without any purpose to the determination of observation purpose according to COR Advantage; From only using a single observation and recording method to master and use multiple methods to observe and record children; From not knowing what to do with the observations to being able to interpret and apply them scientifically. From the practice of three rounds of action research, the researcher summarizes the specific methods to improve teachers' observation ability :The observation items in COR Advantage can provide a reference for teachers to determine the purpose of observation;Video observation can effectively improve teachers' recording and analyzing ability. The implementation of follow-up observation can improve the teacher's follow-up education strategy. Finally, through consulting relevant literature,Suggestions are put forward for further improving the observation ability of teachers in regional activities as follows: help teachers to plan their daily work reasonably and make enough time for observation;Establish a complete training system to enrich teachers' theoretical knowledge;Integrate observation into kindergarten based teaching and research to provide teachers with opportunities for practice and discussion;Simplify the tedious text work and reduce the pressure of teachers' observation.
