Under the continuous innovation of Internet technology and the rapid development of new media technology,interpersonal interaction in cyberspace has become more and more common.With its real-time interactivity and the characteristics of time and space leaps,online live broadcast is popular among the people.Webcasting is a product of continuous innovation of Internet technology.It combines text,pictures,voice,video,and barrage on the spot,which greatly broadens the margins of Internet development.It not only breaks the boundary between real and virtual situations,but also Blurred the boundary between private space and public space,and promoted the development of the "live +" trend in various industries,and the change of life and learning methods.Webcast users share information,communicate and share emotions with participants and viewers in the field of webcast,and enjoy the immersive experience brought by virtual presence.As the aborigines of the Internet era,contemporary college students have grown up with the development of the Internet and are willing to accept new things.They are not only viewers of live webcasts,but also began to show themselves through live webcasts,becoming the main force in the live broadcast industry.However,in recent years,capital has continuously flowed into the live broadcast industry,and the live broadcast industry has gradually become saturated.At present,live broadcast categories mainly based on game live broadcast,entertainment live broadcast and pan-life content live broadcast are formed.In recent years,in the rich and diverse content of the pan-entertainment live webcast category,live streaming content mainly based on learning is gradually emerging.This kind of live webcasting room is called "study with me,study account,study self-study room".Learning live broadcasts are different from other live broadcasts in terms of real-time interactivity and multi-barrage characteristics.Learning live broadcasters are only quietly learning under the webcam,rarely interacting with viewers through speech or behavior,selective body parts appear,simple to show their learning process,create virtual study rooms,create an online companion learning atmosphere,and attract the attention of many viewers.The learning live broadcast originated from You Tube,a foreign video social platform,and then such videos were transferred to the domestic video social platform located in the cultural community of young people-Bili Bili Barrage Video Website(Site B).With the rise and development in China,Station B has also become the main platform for domestic young people to learn live broadcast.This research is based on Goffman'stheory of pseudo-drama,focusing on the self-presentation and performance of college students in live broadcast learning,using participatory observation and in-depth interview research methods,with ten college students learning live broadcast users as the research object.It aims to explore the idealized self-image presentation form of the main body of college students' learning live broadcast in the process of learning live broadcast,explore the motivation of the live broadcast users of the live broadcast,and make an in-depth discussion of their self-presentation and performance behavior under the live broadcast lens.Through observation and in-depth interviews,the following results were obtained: The study found that college students learn the main body of live broadcast,mainly by setting up live broadcast account information,learning the scene construction of the live broadcast space and presenting the multi-information interface of the live broadcast to construct an idealized self-image.At the same time,the study found that the motivation of college students to learn live broadcasting.Because emerging technologies provide an efficient platform for self-display,online high-end media has promoted the change of learning methods.The characteristics of the time-space spanning and real-time interaction of webcasting have changed the original traditional learning place,presenting a private learning space on an open live broadcast platform,and constructing a new way of autonomous learning scenarios and college students' learning methods.The psychological motivation of learning live broadcasting is also an important part of college students' learning live broadcasting behavior.The main body of college students' learning live broadcast is watched through live broadcast shots to achieve the realization of self-goals,seeking personal identification of self-identification and fame expectations.As a product of emerging technology,learning live broadcast is a positive learning method,which helps to form good learning habits,improve learning efficiency and self-identity.However,due to the long-term continuous ideal self-presentation of learning live broadcast users,learning live broadcast subjects.It is easy to indulge in the role-playing under the lens,and self-identification and strengthening of the perfect image created by oneself will inevitably cause the phenomenon of confusing the true self and the ideal self,and fall into the ritualized performance learning state.
