In recent years,the transition from kindergarten to primary school has become one of the most important educational issues in the world.Since the beginning of the 21st century,the Japanese government has made substantial achievements and accumulated some experiences and lessons by taking a series of measures to promote the transition.The previous researches mainly explained the strategies and measures of Japan's transition from kindergarten to primary school and the enlightenment to China.Based on the existing research results,this study will take 2000 as the time node to focus on a systematic and comprehensive induction and analysis of the transition from kindergarten to primary school in Japan,in order to provide a useful reference for China to promote the work of transition and improve the quality of basic education.Six parts divided are as follows:The first part expounds the background of the reform and development of the transition from kindergarten to primary school in Japan since the 21st century from the perspective of social and historical motivations.The demand to solve the "first grade problem" and adapt to the trend of lifelong education have been important source of supporting voice of Japan's transition since the 21st century.The second part sorts out the evolution of the Japan's policies of the transition from kindergarten to primary school since in the 21st century,and divides them into two stages according to the theme of the transition:"adaptation" and "continuousr".The third part specifically introduces Japan's measures to promote the transition from kindergarten to primary school since the 21st century,mainly from the communication between children,the cooperation between teachers,the preparation and implementation of transition courses,and the participation of families and communities.supplemented by a variety of cases to illustrate its specific implementation.The fourth part summarizes the effect of the transition from kindergarten to primary school in Japan since the 21st century,which is mainly reflected in the gradual expansion of the communication scale,the continuous improvement of the level of the transition from kindergarten to primary school,and the "first grade problem" has been solved to a certain extent.At the same time,this part discusses the problems existing in the transition from kindergarten to primary school in Japan including the low depth of communication between children,difficulty for young teachers to understand each other,and inadequate preparation of transition courses.The fifth part analyzes the characteristics of Japan in the process of promoting the transition from kindergarten to primary school since the 21st century,including defining legal status of connection,setting the common educational goals,and emphasizing on transition courses.The sixth part combines the current situation and existing problems of the same question in China.and believes that China should break the limitations of the knowledge-oriented transition concept,strengthen the preparation of "continuity "transition courses,and continue to deepen the communication and cooperation among multiparty force.
