Function plays a decisive role in high school mathematics.The concept of a function is not only a redefinition of a function,but also the basis of the monotonicity,parity,periodicity,image,and function of the function.Because of its abstraction,the concept of functions is not easy to teach,and it is not easy to learn.In order to make students more relaxed to grasp the concept of function,this thesis attempts to use APOS theory to guide the teaching of function concepts.APOS is a constructivist view of learning.Its core is to emphasize the main role of students in the classroom.This thesis begins with the reasons for the topic,the significance of the research,and the status of research at home and abroad.By searching and organizing a large amount of references,interviews and surveys are conducted for research.Through the study of constructivism and cognition,the author deeply analyzes the essence of APOS theory.Finally,it is applied to the actual teaching,and it is compared with the traditional teaching mode to explore the teaching effect of the two.The conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)APOS theory is feasible to guide teaching is feasible.The teaching of the concept of function under the guidance of APOS theory can teach students more ways of learning than traditional teaching.(2)The classroom under the guidance of APOS theory is more active and can arouse students'interest in learning.(3)The focus of APOS theory lies in the students.The classroom belongs to the students.What the teachers can do is to guide the students to think.
