Integrating Socialist Core Values Into Ideological And Political Education Of Undergraduates

It is the socialist core values that are the concentrated presentation of contemporary Chinese spirit and the "maximum common denominator" of social consensus.Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party,the Party Central Committee,with General Secretary Xi Jinping as its core,has taken the successor of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics as a major strategic task with lofty historical position,broad international vision and profound strategic vision,and has carefully considered the fundamental issue of "who to train,how to train and for whom to train" in various schools at all levels.To the Party's educational policy,the fundamental task of the school and the reform of education and teaching,the basic requirements of "cultivating people by virtue,casting the soul by Bacon,purifying the source and upholding innovation" are put forward.It is pointed out that basic education is the cause of Building Morality and cultivating people.We should strengthen ideological and political education and moral education,strengthen the education of socialist core values,and guide students to self-esteem,self-confidence and self-reliance.Undergraduate colleges and universities shoulder the responsibility of "building morality and cultivating people".They must cultivate useful talents who support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system of our country from generation to generation and aspire to struggle for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a lifetime.Today's undergraduate students are the generation born and grown up under the environment of rapid social change and the impact of pluralistic values.They are mainly after 95 and 00.They are in the critical period of value formation.Their characteristics are full of curiosity about new things,lack of ability to distinguish right from wrong,and face the erosion of various wrong trends of thought and pluralistic values.Therefore,the integration of socialist core values education into undergraduate ideological and political education is an urgent and important task.The article is divided into five parts:The introduction part: Firstly,it explores the background and significance of the research on the path of integrating socialist core values into undergraduate ideological and political education;secondly,it briefly expounds the current domestic and international research status of integrating socialist core values into undergraduate ideological and political education;thirdly,it introduces the basic ideas and research methods of the article.The first chapter discusses the main contents and functions of socialist core values,as well as the meaning,functions and tasks of Ideological and political education.It clarifies the internal logic of socialist core values and ideological and political education of undergraduates,including the consistency of their goals and humanistic spirit,and the New Era Connotation of socialist core values for Undergraduates ideological and political education.The second chapter elaborates the current situation of the integration of socialist core values into the ideological and political education of undergraduates,mainly taking Wuhan undergraduates as an example,through questionnaires,analysis of the achievements and problems in the integration process,and analysis of the problems to find the root causes of the problems in an all-round way.The third chapter discusses the principles and methods of integrating socialist core values into undergraduate ideological and political education.It mainly follows the principles of direction and dominance,sientificity and systematicnes,inheritance and innovation,and actively guides undergraduates by using the methods of theory and practice,self-education and example education,invisible education and explicit education,online education and off-line education,so that undergraduates can consciously practice the socialist core values in the process of growing up and becoming talents.Chapter ? puts forward the implementation path,from six aspects: strengthening integration content,establishing system guarantee,optimizing teaching methods,deepening social practice,strengthening integration carrier and building a strong team,to form a school-based position,and to carry out the work of integrating socialist core values into undergraduate ideological and political education in an all-round way.
