The Vicissitudes Of Japanese Baseball Culture

Modern baseball was born in the United States,and the history of American baseball can be equated with the history of modern baseball.However,as the sport was introduced to Japan,it embarked on a completely different development path,showing a baseball culture with Japanese national characteristics.In the face of foreign things,the.Japanese have never lacked the ability to "localize",but to understand how the sport has created extraordinary appeal in Japanese society,and the whole society has paid great attention to its culture.It is necessary to deeply analyze the evolution of Japanese baseball culture and understand the causes and related mechanisms of its changes.The paper first defines the relevant concepts,including sports culture and its subsystems,sports project culture,the composition of baseball culture,the concept of cultural change and the definition of research time.And from the three levels of spirit,system and material,it has combed the related research on Japanese baseball culture changes at home and abroad,and laid the research foundation of this paper.Based on the Japanese student baseball game,this paper uses literature research method,historical method and factor analysis method to study Japanese baseball with values as the core from the perspective of historical development and cultural change.Spiritual culture,the baseball system culture centered on organizational systems and competitions,and the changes in baseball material culture centered on the development of venue facilities.At the same time,it is supplemented by the political background,economic environment and educational development of Japan during the Meiji,Taisho,and Showa wars and the post-World War ? period.Finally,the changes and changes are summarized.This study believes that the changes in Japanese baseball culture have gone through five stages:the beginning of baseball(1872-1889),the period of elite baseball(1890-1904),and the period of mass baseball(1905-1931),the stage of baseball control(1932-1945)and the new stage after World War ?(from 1945 to the present).Throughout the course of change,the three external factors of the country's modernization process,economic environment and educational development are important reasons for the changes in Japanese baseball culture.Stimulating communication and guiding changes are the two major mechanisms for the development of Japanese baseball culture.
