Approaches toward learning mainly reflects the tendency,attitudes,styles and habits of children to learn and explore in many ways.It points not to the children's acquired knowledge and skills,but to the ways and means of acquiring them.And it plays an important role in knowledge,emotional and social development of young children present and future.The Guide to Learning and Development of 3-6 years old(hereinafter referred to as "the Guide")also explicitly states in the "Note" that it is necessary to "attach importance to the approaches toward learning of young children".As parents,we should fully "respect and protect children's curiosity and interest in learning,and help children gradually develop positive and active,conscientiously focused,and not afraid of difficulties,dare to explore and try,willing to imagine and create good learning quality." Then,whether parents' daily life care,educational guidance,psychological help and play-accompanied family support will have an impact on the development of their approaches toward learning,and whether they can help children to promote the development of their approaches toward learning,there is no in-depth study on this in the existing research.This study is based on the above thinking and take this as the starting point,reveal the relationship between family support and approaches toward learning of infants.Put forward constructive suggestions for parents to provide family support,promote the development of children's good approaches toward learning,and promote the all-round development.152 5-6 years old children and their parents were randomly selected from a public and private kindergarten in K city.In order to understand the status of family support for young children,a self-designed questionnaire,Questionnaire on the status of Family support for Preschool Children,was adopted,the United Nations Children's Fund(UNICEF)and the Guide team jointly developed the Approaches toward learning Field Scale" to measure the approaches toward learning of young children.On this basis,the relationship between family support and approaches toward learning is tested to reveal the relationship between them from a quantitative point of view.Through in-depth research,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The family support of 5-6 years old children was in a good level as a whole,the educational support level was the highest in every dimension,followed by life support,and finally psychological support and game support.There is no significant difference in the sex and number of children in family support for young children,and there was significant difference in the monthly family income variables in children's family support level.2.The overall development of approaches toward learning of 5-6 years old children was better,but there were differences among different dimensions.The order of development level was:persistence and attention>initiative>curiosity and interest>creation and invention>reflection and explanation.There is no significant difference in the sex and number of children in approaches toward learning,but there was a significant difference in the approaches toward learning of children with different monthly family income.3.There was a significant positive correlation between family support and approaches toward learning of 5-6 years old children,and there was a significant correlation between family support dimensions and approaches toward learning dimensions.Life support,psychological support and game support in family support can positively predict approaches toward learning.4.Different levels of family support have a significant impact on the overall and various dimensions of approaches toward learning for 5-6 years old children,and family support can promote the approaches toward learning in 5-6 years old children.Based on the above conclusions,the researchers put forward the following suggestions:First of all,parents should establish the right concept of family support and promote the rationality of family support structure;secondly,parents should be targeted to cultivate the approaches toward learning of infants;finally,parents should pay attention to the impact of family support on the development of approaches toward learning of infants,and further improve the level of family support.
