As an important research field, approaches to learning increasingly drawing the researchers' attentions from domestic and abroad. It can not only predict children's future academic achievements, but also has a very important role on children's school readiness and overall development. Meanwhile, family environment is the main environment in the growing up of children and it plays a leading role in the development of children. The cultivation of family routines can promote the good approaches to learning of children.Established by the credible and feasible research tools, this study randomly extracts the research objects from the children of the middle shifts and the top classes in a public kindergarten of Beijing. It investigates the children's approaches to learning by experimental observation, and researches children's family routines and their family socioeconomic status using the Questionnaire survey method.The main findings of this study are as follows:First, the five dimensions of children's approaches to learning are significantly different from each other. The sequence of the development level is:curiosity and interests, initiative, creation and invention, insistence and attention, introspection and interpretation, and the level of the above five dimensions are generally higher. There are also differences in the four dimensions of children's family routines. Its development level in order is learning routines, daily routines, discipline routines and activity routines.Second, there are significant differences exist in the approaches to learning and the family routines of the children who come from families which are in different socioeconomic status. Children of lower family socioeconomic status, their approaches to learning and the development of family routines are at the lower level.Third, the relationship between children's approaches to learning and family routines is positive; the promotion of family routines is conductive to the development of their approaches to learning.Forth, in the predictive value of family socioeconomic status on children's approaches to learning, family routines have a mediating effect and the activity routines have the most prominent impacts.
