Junior High School Of Educational Research Group Function And Strategy Research

Teaching and Research Work(TRW)is the important foundation to guarantee teaching quality,the important way for teachers to have professional development and important guarantee for teaching quality of primary school and secondary school.Teaching and Research Group(TRG)is the cradle for professional growth for teachers,the cooperation unit that carries all the teaching and research work.It has functions of teaching and research,study and training,management and guidance,etc.TRW plays a crucial rule in aspects including pushing forward course revolution,guiding teaching practice,promoting teachers' professional development,serving educational decisions,etc.Focusing on TRG in 4 middle schools in Yueyang,this article studied and analyzed the current situation of TRG in these 4 middle schools through questionnaire and interview.The pragmatic investigation was carried out in 4 dimensions including management,cultivation,guidance and research.Leaders of teaching management department,head of TRG and members of TRG would go through questionnaire and interview about teaching and research institutional management,group atmosphere,activity situation and so on.The result showed that interviewed schools has a lot of valuable experiences in areas of cultivation and guidance like various TR activities,effective cooperation of regional united TRW,unique renovation and so on,which does not only improved education quality,but is also good for further strengthen teachers' professional development.However,problems also discovered like incomplete system construction of TRG,lacking of effective research system as well as evaluation and punishment system,etc.Also,TRG's research work is not good enough with problems like inadequate collaborative teaching,more focus on practice teaching instead of theory improvement,non-fully shown teaching results,etc.Therefore,this article came up with 3 suggestions of optimizing TRG construction.First,realize management in a more scientific way with a full guarantee system and more investment.Specifically speaking,it includes improvement of regular management system of TR activity,educational research system and evaluation,rewards and punishment system.Second,fully develop guidance system and academic leaders' leading role.It includes enhancing comprehensive and practical educational research and guiding schools and teachers to consistently create new forms and methods of teaching,creating new ways of TRW and carrying out regional education,online education,theme education,on-site guidance,teaching and studying demonstration and project research according to different subject,level of studying and teacher.Third,strengthen TRG's research ability so as to facilitate teachers' professional development including enhancing key link research,research on course,teaching and homework,richen school curriculum.It is suggested that scientific research system with full participation be established where problems are being researched as project so as to form a teaching and studying behavioral pattern with research awareness.
