Housework is often examined in the field of exchange value in women 's studies and political economy studies.It is regarded as labor without financial compensation,it is the exploitation of women,and it is unrecognized labor.Benston pointed out in "Political Economics of Women's Liberation" that "women who do such worthless things(housework)can hardly be valued like men who work to make money." The problem that this perspective cannot explain is that In the life,some houseworkers are happy.Where does this happiness come from? What new knowledge can it provide for us to understand domestic work? What does it add to the study of women's studies and the political and economic perspective on housework? This is the problem that this paper tries to solve.Based on the above research goals,this paper selects the short video of Douyin short video user "Xiaolan" as a case,and uses text analysis as a basic research method to show the types,sources and sources of happiness experienced from housework.The expression is described in depth,and then from the perspective of life,the formation mechanism of the happiness of housework is discussed,and the significance of this perspective for understanding the theory and practice of housework.Based on the research design,this paper is divided into four parts for discussion: The first part introduces the basic situation of Douyin user "Xiaolan",including the creation time,operation status and influence of the short video.The second,third and fourth parts respectively discuss the three sources of Xiaolan's happiness.The second part studies the most intuitive changes brought about by household chores to the family and the sense of accomplishment brought by the changes;the third part studies the emotional communication with family members obtained in household chores;The feeling of luck.The fifth part is the conclusion.It summarizes the supplementary explanation and the generation logic and conditions of the happiness of housework.Through the analysis of the expression of happiness in housework in Xiaolan's short video,this paper finds that housework is not a purely economic activity in the field of pure exchange value,it is a condensate of the rich connotation of family life,which is both a household The improvement activities are also the communication activities of family emotions,or the external presentation of personal temperament.These factors make the housework work condense abundant feelings,which can bring happiness to people,and of course other emotions.This provides us with a new perspective and a new method for understanding domestic work,and reminds women 's studies and political and economic studies that real life is multidimensional.The analysis of women 's domestic work in the field of exchange value may not be close.The complete truth does not fit the feeling of many women.
