Tao Xingzhi(1891-1946)was a great people's educator,democracy fighter,and popular poet in modern China.He devoted his life to running education for the people.His doctrine of life education is the most creative and influential in modern China.One of the doctrines,its rich educational thoughts and practices continue to be studied and used for reference by the education community.Tao Xingzhi's research once became a hot field in educational research,but it has never faded after setbacks,and it is even gradually forming "Tao Xingzhi".This article focuses on the research of Tao Xingzhi's image,using literature analysis,comparative analysis,and oral history to analyze the achievements of Tao Xingzhi's representative scholars in Central China Normal University.Tao Xingzhi's image research makes a systematic comparative analysis,and then suggesting that a group's unique research and creation of character images.The dissertation is divided into four parts.The first part mainly analyzes the background of Tao Xingzhi's image research.Since the beginning of the 20th century.Tao Xingzhi's educational theory and its educational practice have caused widespread debate in the domestic academic community.Recently,Tao Xingzhi's research have has a history of 100 years.In the past 100 years,Tao Xingzhi's research has gone through five periods of contention,climax,silence,and revival.The study of Tao Xingzhi's image has also been accompanied by the differences of Tao Yan Development and change.Especially after the reform and opening up,under the influence of the social environment of "emancipating the mind",Tao Xingzhi's research has quickly become popular in the academic world.After a long period of academic accumulation,many researchers have become more and more objective about Tao Xingzhi's image Fair evaluation,academia has gradually formed a corresponding sense of identity and consensus on the image of Tao Xingzhi,and the construction of "Tao Xingzhi" has become the direction and goal of many Tao scholars.Tao Xingzhi is used as a spiritual example of public learning.It has become a powerful weapon to promote Chinese culture and strengthen the national spirit.The second part focuses on Tao Yan scholars from Central China Normal University after the reform and opening up as the inspection center,and sorts out the basic context and development process of Tao Xingzhi's image research of this research group.After forty years of hard work,the people in Huazhong Middle School adhered to the objective and fair research principles.They are not only achieving fruitful results in Tao Xingzhi's research and image evaluation,but also took Tao Yan as an academic heritage and cultivated generation after generation.Research have prompted Tao Xingzhi's image evaluation to be continuously supplemented,corrected and improved,becoming one of the important forces in the construction of "Tao Xingzhi".The third part focuses on the micro-analysis of Tao Yan group in Central China Normal University.The research selected Zhang Kailuan,Tang Guoquan,Yu Zixia,and Zhou Hongyu as the representative of the study,and expounded the writings of four scholars on the research of Tao Xingzhi's image.While deepening the understanding and interpretation of the results of Tao research by the research group of Central China Normal University,A better interpretation of the renewal and change of Tao Xingzhi's image from the perspective of Huazhong people.The fourth part is based on the research results of more than forty years of the Tao Yan group in Central China Normal University,and has related thinking on Tao Xingzhi's research.Although Tao Xingzhi's image evaluation was affected by socio-political and other factors and was once unjustly recognized,relying on the academic reconstruction of scholars,the damaged character image can be restored and reconstructed,and it tends to be stable and objective.In addition,taking root in historical facts and conducting academic research with a historical perspective has also become an important means of restoring the full picture of historical figures.At the same time,this study analyzes the image of Tao Xingzhi in Hua Middle School,combines macro and micro,to further sort out the research path of the Tao Yan group in Central China Normal University,and strives to provide some lessons for the research of historical figures in academic circles.
