Interest teaching method is a method to stimulate students' interest in learning by injecting interest into the classroom,so as to improve the efficiency of learning and enhance the quality of subjects.Geography is an interesting subject,but under the pressure of the college entrance examination,teaching and learning for the examination,the classroom inevitably tends to the cramming teaching,poor interest.By consulting relevant literature,this paper summarizes and analyzes the domestic and foreign research achievements and shortcomings of the interesting teaching method,and studies and determines the concept and theoretical basis of the interesting teaching method.Then,through the questionnaire on the application of interesting teaching method in high school geography teaching,we understand the current situation of the application of interesting teaching method in senior high school geography teaching.By analyzing the statistical data with Excel,we come to the following conclusion:the application of interesting teaching method in high school geography teaching is deficient in quantity and quality.The specific expression is as follows::(1)the interesting use of low frequency(2)use form drab(3)the interest effect is poorer.In addition,through to the green,middle and old age three different age groups of high school geography teachers classroom observation and examination of corresponding teacher interviews,from actual explores the interest teaching method applied in the high school geography teaching lack of reason,the conclusion is as follows:(1)teachers' interesting consciousness and ability insufficient knowledge(2)Many knowledge attributes and difficulties in textbooks make it difficult to implement interesting teaching(3)the education system and the implementation of the subject discrimination reduce interest interest.In view of the above situation,a new set of interesting teaching method is put forward:visual stimulating method,auditory stimulating method,kinesthetic stimulating method,tactile stimulating method and taste olfactory stimulating method,and based on the proposed interesting teaching method,a geography teaching case is designed in high school,hoping to provide help for the research and practice of interesting teaching.
