| Morality Education is the fundamental mission of Chinese universities.At the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work of Colleges and Universities,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that colleges and universities should adhere to the central link of Morality Education,and carry out ideological and political work throughout the entire process of education and teaching,so as to educate students in the whole process and in all aspects.In order to achieve this goal,constructing a "Full Staff Education(FSE)" pattern in colleges and universities and promoting the formation of a joint force for education have become the current top priority for universities to strengthen college and university students' Ideological and Political Education(IPE).College and university counselors are the backbone of the college and university students' IPE,and are the organizers,implementers and mentors of the daily IPE and management of college and university students.Compared with faculty and staff in other positions in colleges and universities,counselors are a special existence that integrates the three major functions of education,management and service.All of their work is designed and implemented around the core function of IPE of college and university students,which is promoted in colleges and universities.It plays an extremely important role in the process of forming the "FSE" pattern.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study the countermeasures for strengthening the IPE functions of college and university counselors from the perspective of the "FSE".On the basis of sorting out the basic concepts and connotations of the "FSE",the dissertation explains the importance of constructing the "FSE" pattern to strengthen IPE work in colleges and universities,analyzes and compares the IPE functions undertaken by the faculty and staff of all positions in colleges and universities in the "FSE" pattern,specially analyzes the IPE functions of college and university counselors in terms of work requirements,advantages and functions,and proposes that among various educating forces in colleges and universities,counselors of the IPE function has an irreplaceable and important role.Colleges and universities should create conditions for the instructors to better perform the IPE function in the process of building the "FSE" pattern,and attach importance to and continuously strengthen the function of IPE of counselors.Based on the questionnaire survey,the dissertation focuses on analyzing the problems and causes of the current college and university counselors in the process of performing IPE functions.The main reasons are that college and university counselors have deviations in their understanding of their IPE functions,lack the ability to carry out IPE,lack of internal motivations to prepare for college and university students' IPE work in subjective aspects,there are also some objective problems in the process of selecting and employing counselors in colleges and universities,such as the emphasis on quantity rather than quality,the lack of sound mechanisms to support counselors in the performance of IPE,the unsatisfactory treatment guarantee for counselors,and the poor soft environment caused by the weak atmosphere of the "FSE".Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed,including enhancing the consciousness and ability of college and university counselors to perform IPE functions,perfecting the relevant mechanisms for college and university counselors to perform IPE functions,and optimizing the path of college and university counselors performing IPE functions. |
