The general high school geography curriculum standard(2017 Edition)has revised the 2011 edition of geography curriculum standard,which emphasizes the importance of cultivating students' core quality of geography.Through the study of theory and practice of thinking visualization,the author finds that the cultivation of students' geographical core literacy can be realized by thinking visualization.Thinking visualization refers to the process of presenting the invisible thinking path,structure,method and strategy in the way of diagram or combination of diagram to make it clear.In geography teaching,teachers develop students' comprehensive thinking by drawing thought map,discover the shortcomings of students' thinking by making and using visual teaching aids,and cultivate students' practical ability of Geography in practice and thinking,which meets the requirements of current geography curriculum for the cultivation of students' core quality of geography.Through the investigation,the author finds out the problems of thinking visualization in high school geography teaching and analyzes the causes.According to the application principles and Strategies of thinking visualization tools and methods,the author analyzes and designs teaching cases.By combining thinking visualization with high school geography teaching,the author finds out that thinking visualization teaching has certain advantages and limitations.This paper consists of five parts: the first part,introduction.It mainly expounds the research background,research purpose,research significance and research status at home and abroad,and finally combs the research content and research methods.The second part is the theoretical basis research.Through the classification of a large number of documents,the author makes the classification theory of educational objectives,cognitive development theory and constructivism learning theory as the theoretical basis of this paper,which paves the way for further research.The third part,investigation and research.Through questionnaire survey and interview survey,this paper combs out the problems existing in the application of thinking visualization tools and methods in high school geography teaching andanalyzes the causes of the problems.The fourth part describes the application principles and Strategies of thinking visualization tools and methods,and provides guidance for the fifth part of case analysis and teaching design.The fifth part is the case study.Based on the provincial Demonstration Courses participated by the author,combined with the current situation of high school geography class,through the teaching design,the practice of visual teaching aids and mind map is studied.After class,the test questions are tested and students are interviewed to test the effect of thinking visualization in teaching and summarize the advantages and limitations of thinking visualization.
