With the development of The Times, people's requirements for new talents are constantly updated. What the modern society needs is not only talents who can only talk on paper, but practical talents who can solve practical problems and have a sense of innovation. There are also some problems in science classes, for example, students are too passive and have poor problem-solving skills. They emphasize more on the imparting of scientific knowledge, while ignoring the cultivation of self-learning ability, thinking ability, analytical problem-solving ability and cooperative ability. The teaching mode of Problem-Based Learning not only promotes the development of students' scientific literacy, but also improves students' learning ability, cooperation ability, expression ability, etc.,and plays a certain role in improving the classroom learning atmosphere and students' interpersonal relationship. This paper takes the science textbook of science education in primary schools as an example to carry out a practical research on the teaching mode of Problem-Based Learning in science subjects in primary schools. The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly discusses the problem of the subject research, research status at home and abroad, research content, methods and significance; The second chapter expounds the conceptdefinition, characteristics, construction problems and theoretical basis of the teaching mode of Problem-Based Learning. The third chapter constructs the PBL teaching mode suitable for primary school science.Based on the existing theoretical basis,it analyzes the situation construction, problem design, learning content design, teaching process design and teaching evaluation from five perspectives, and constructs the teaching mode of Problem-Based Learning suitable for the characteristics of primary school science teaching. The fourth chapter takes "making an ecological bottle" in the field of "life science",the first volume of the fifth grade edition of the teaching science edition,as an example. It practices in the primary school science curriculum, evaluates and analyzes the teaching results, and draws conclusions, providing reference and reference for the application of PBL in the primary school science discipline. The fifth chapter is the summary and outlook, summarizes the research results of this paper, and explains the areas for improvement,as well as the direction of the author's efforts in the future.
