With the aging problem highlighted, the old-age problem of rural empty nest elderly people has become an important topic of scholars research. In recent years, with the effective implementation of the new rural cooperative, rural social security, poor households and other support policies, the economic pressure of rural empty-nest elderly is relatively reduced, but with the increase of rural young and strong labor force, the satisfaction of life care, spiritual comfort and other needs still exists in the life of empty-nest elderly,so informal social support forces play an irreplaceable role in the old-age life of rural empty-nest elderly groups. But the existing research on rural empty nest elderly informal society the research of supporting network construction is not much, and the number of research using case work intervention method is less. Therefore, this paper attempts to use social case work method to intervene in the construction of informal social support network for rural empty nest elderly. This study adopts the social case work method, and combines the survey method, the unstructured interview method and the participatory observation method and so on.To assess the problems and needs of the victim through an in-depth investigation into his or her current living conditions and into his or her neighbours' homes. The investigation found that the victim and his wife lived together all the year round, the biggest problem at this stage is that the existing contradictions in the family make the family atmosphere condensed and the irrational exclusion of the victim's wife from the current state of life in old age leads to the low quality of life in old age.To take fully into account in the course of the study the owner's expectations for informal support networks and to assess the informal resources available to them, fromAnd the corresponding service strategy for them, that is,to resolve the existing family contradictions as the entry point to the children of the victim to carry out in-depth communication,on the basis of building a relationship of mutual trust between the children through the promotion of the association between the children to jointly solve the problems faced by the victim and put into practice, achieved good results. At the same time, through in-depth communication with the neighborhood of the victim, the informal support resources of the neighbor are obtained for him, which greatly meets the needs of the victim for spiritual comfort. In the course of case development, the social worker accurately assessed and took advantage of the growth and change of the victim at each stage as an opportunity to adjust in real time service content makes the construction of informal support network more smooth and effective, which greatly increases the acceptance of the victim and the practicability of informal social support network, and forms a multi-directional informal social support network of "wife" multi-directional informal social support network.Through the development of systematic case intervention, this study supports the construction process of network from informal society:1.The casework process needs to be controlled flexibly, that is,it is often accompanied by various changes in the mentality, mood and surrounding environment of the victim and his/her surroundings.Different situations need to have different coping strategies.2.there is a need for targeted intervention for different clients, that is,in the process of case work,it is necessary to establish contact with different clients related to the victim, and to reasonably assess the various characteristics of the clients in order to carry out individualized and targeted intervention,so as to promote the effective establishment of various supporting resource relationships.3.the process of intervention,it is necessary to excavate the available resources in real time, that is,in the process of intervention,we need to do a good job in the evaluation of each stage, including the change of the victim, the surrounding environment and the informal social support resources, and obtain the next stage of intervention direction in the positive change that has been obtained. In the course of this research, although the expected service goal has been achieved, there are still some problems, such as the combination of theory andpractice, and the decline of service effect caused by the later change of the demand and problem of the victim.
