A Practical Study On Social Work Intervention In The Social Support Network For The Empty Nest Elderly

As our country enters the critical period of great economic and social transformation and great change,one of the prominent signs of social structure change is the arrival of the aging era,the number of the elderly population is large and the growth rate is fast;the trend of aging,empty nest is obvious,and the pressure of social old-age care is increased.As a special group of the elderly,the demand for the aged is more urgent and complex.At present,the community home pension service system is in the process of deep exploration.The services provided to the empty-nest elderly mainly focus on day care,disease rehabilitation,domestic service and so on.The supply of social support is insufficient and unstable,and can not form a perfect social support network,which can easily have adverse effects on their physical and mental health.Therefore,the perfect social support network has become the most urgent need of empty nest elderly.Under the community home care service system,it is an important measure to improve the quality of life of the empty-nest elderly by discussing the practice of social work intervention in the social support network for the empty-nest elderly.Taking community home-based old-age care service in the street as an example,this paper analyzes the service situation of social work in the B street in the social support network of empty nest elderly in Guangzhou as the intervention point,taking empty nest elderly as the service object,social support theory and ecosystem theory as the guidance.Using questionnaire access method,semi-structured access method and participation observation method to collect information on the needs of empty nest elderly and social support network,this paper expounds the basic status of the overall service of social work,and analyzes the effectiveness of intervention and the problems existing in the process of intervention.On this basis explore social work involved in empty nest elderly and the reason for the deficiency of human social support network,combined with domestic policy and practical work,give play to the leading role of social work,from the intervention of empty nest elderly and family,community,government dimension to explore the empty nest elderly social support network construction,perfect methods and strategies.Through the intervention of social work to make up for the extension of social support of community home pensionservice,build a multi-in-one support system,and build a perfect social support network for the empty nest elderly.
