Design And Implementation Of Campus Card Analysis System Based On Data Mining

Under the megatrend of educational informatization,campus card has been widely used in various colleges and universities.As an important carrier of campus informatization management,e-card system carries more and more abundant information.How to effectively mine and fully analyze these data and find a large amount of commercial information and management information hidden in them is the hot spot of current research.Based on the e-card database in higher vocational college where the author works,this paper designs and implements a campus card log analysis system.Taking the data such as using location,time point,operation type,expenditure and so on in the e-card log as analysis objects,the analysis results can be obtained.This will enable the administrative department to have a quantitative understanding of the work,study and laws of living conditions about all teachers and students,and then rationally allocate resources and reduce administrative costs.And it plays an important role in student management and campus planning and construction.The design and implementation of this system mainly uses data warehouse,online analytical processing technology and data mining.The specific work is as follows:1.Analyze the system requirements,thus establishing the basic framework of the system,which includes data source layer,data processing layer,data warehouse layer and data display layer.Defining the basic functions of the system which includes consumption analysis,poor students' prediction and attendance statistics.Determining the data sources of the system.2.Use ODBC tools to realize the data migration process from the e-card system database to the e-card log analysis system database and complete the data preprocessing.In the ETL process of the data processing layer,the data are extracted,converted and loaded to make it complete,correct and consistent.3.Use SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services to integrate,convert and load data,and establish a data warehouse which is prepared for data mining.4.Using online analytical processing technology to create association rule mining model,taking multi-dimensional data as decision content,and processing large amounts of data quickly and flexibly according to the demand.5.Use data visualization technology to display data analysis results in the form of charts,curves,text,etc.The achievement of the paper shows that it is very meaningful to combine data warehouse and data mining technology to analyze the data of campus card system.At the same time,it also lays a foundation for the future comprehensive information analysis as well as data mining work of the school and makes effective exploration for further constructing a complete analysis platform and providing deeper decision-making suggestions.
