Under the new curriculum reform,teaching materials are also constantly changing.Under the guidance of the compulsory education history curriculum standard(2011Edition),the Department compiled junior high school history textbook pays more attention to the design of text assistant system than the previous textbooks,highlights the function of the Department compiled junior high school history textbook as the learning base,and devotes itself to the transformation of learning materials,thus adding a new plate of "material study".As an important auxiliary column in the junior high school history textbook compiled by the Ministry,the column of "material study" plays an important role in training students' ability and guiding students to learn how to learn in the form of historical data and questions,and plays an important role in both teachers' teaching and students' learning.It can be seen that the research on the column of "material study" is necessary and of great value.Based on this,this paper takes the "material study" column of the junior high school history textbook compiled by the Ministry as the research object,on the basis of previous studies,through literature research and exemplification,and conducts a relatively comprehensive study from the perspective of learning materials.This paper mainly includes the following four parts:The first part describes the reason and significance of the topic,research status,research ideas and methods,as well as the innovation of this study.In the second part,the author first defines the related concepts such as history textbook,textbook,learning material,etc.,and expounds the relationship between textbook and learning material.Secondly,it analyzes the theoretical basis of learning materials from modern teaching theory and psychological theory.In the third part,from the perspective of learning materials,analyzes the text of "material study" column,studies the compilation features and functions of "material study" column,its position in history textbooks,teachers' teaching and students' learning,summarizes the distribution and types of "material study" column,and analyzes the existing problems of "material study" column with examples.The fourth part is on the basis of text analysis,put forward the application and improvement suggestions of "material study" column.First of all,in view of the problems existing in the column of "material study",this paper puts forward some suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials from the perspective of learning materials: increasing the number of charts;giving appropriate notes;elaboratingquestions to improve the quality;selecting materials to enhance the readability.Secondly,put forward teaching suggestions of "material study" column and learning suggestions of "material study" column respectively.The teaching suggestion is to change the teaching view and improve the teaching method;to give the guidance of learning method and cultivate the learning ability;to use flexibly according to the situation of students.Learning suggestions are to guide students to pay attention to "material study";to stimulate students' learning motivation;to guide students to make rational use of the suggestions.Finally,taking the lesson of Westernization Movement as an example,how to use the column of "material study" in teaching is presented.
