Chinese characters are the only ideographic characters left by the ancient civilizations,which have strong vitality as an important carrier of Chinese culture.Every part of Chinese characters and even the origin of every stroke has a strong cultural context behind it,we must firmly grasp this context in the process of learning and teaching,not just let students mechanically remember the word.At the beginning of the young learning stage,students can better understand the solitary pictographs.In their thinking,image memory is faster and more solid than symbol memory.Teachers now face many difficulties,first of all,we are adults,have accepted how to understand and convert symbol memory,but children do not understand,we need to use their thinking patterns to teach them to read and write.Secondly,the mode of thinking determines the language expression.Most Chinese teachers come from the Chinese departments of colleges and universities,and they have accumulated certain knowledge in language expression.This is a good thing for the children of higher grades,but a disadvantage for the children of lower grades.Finally,the children's quality is not enough,and the explanation of Chinese characters needs to arouse their interest.Teachers should learn to explain Chinese characters in fun,otherwise the children will find the course boring and difficult to continue.Despite the difficulties,there are very effective methods of literacy,and literacy by word theory is one of them.It is not enough just to know this method,teachers also need to constantly explore and discover according to the children's learning situation,get the true knowledge from practice,constantly change the strategy,to find the most suitable method for the students.With the development of science and technology and "we media",the communication range and development speed of literacy teaching methods have been improved,which has brought a lot of good news to frontline teachers.
