Chinese character theory includes the principle and law of composition between glyphs,pronunciations and meanings.Modern scholars have disputes about whether modern Chinese characters are justified.This paper argues that modern Chinese characters are still justified.Because Modern Chinese characters inherit the principle of ancient Chinese characters' formation.Modern Chinese characters have also developed new rationale with the progress of society.Some scholars have proposed the teaching method of Chinese character theory.This paper believes that the teaching method of Chinese character theory should follow the process of question,teaching,speaking and practice.There are also some teaching methods such as game teaching,situational teaching.The teaching method of Chinese character theory is not contradictory to other teaching methods.The two are between content and form.This study selected three primary schools for questionnaires and individual interviews.This study attempts to understand the teaching situation of teachers,the acceptance of students and the preparation of textbooks.Research results show that there are many problems in teaching.,such as the teacher's teaching system is insufficient,the teaching method is single,and the teacher despise the Chinese character culture,students'learning motivation is not enough,students' transfer of learning ability is not enough,textbooks are not written reasonably,teachers' lack of supplementary books.This study puts forward some suggestions.For example,teachers should improve their theoretical level,cultivate new educational awareness,and attach importance to after-school teaching.At the same time,teachers need to guide students to learn independently and cultivate students' interest in learning.In addition,textbooks should be written more reasonably.The competent department should organize the preparation of more high-quality teaching reference books.
