A Study On The Transformation Of Chinese Boxers From Amateurs To Professionals

In order to promote the development of professional boxing in China and the development of professional sports in China,this paper explores the optimal path for the transformation of Chinese amateur boxers into professional boxers.The methods of literature review,expert interview,field visit and case analysis were used to support the research.The study holds that professional boxing is a specific form of western civilization,and the capitalist social environment that supports its development is different from the current social reality in China.Therefore,it is difficult to achieve the ideal development results in China with the complete development mode of western professional boxing.The international amateur boxing federation(AIBA),which is in charge of Olympic boxing,does not allow professional boxers to take part in Olympic events under its rules.Based on this,China's outstanding amateur boxing athletes are mainly concentrated in the sports system,the number is more abundant and high plasticity,instead of Chinese excellent athletes in the field of professional boxing is relatively scarce,thus formed the development in amateur boxing athletes resources "possession" and professional boxing athletes especially excellent professional boxing athletes basic contradiction of scarce resources.As the international amateur boxing federation(AIBA)allows professional boxing athletes to take part in the Olympic Games rules reform,means that resources for development of Chinese amateur boxing athletes need no longer be an amateur boxer to hinder the development of professional transformation,the original contradiction be resolved,the development of Chinese professional boxing and Chinese boxing usher in new opportunities.The development path of professional sports with Chinese characteristics created by basketball and tennis in China has been proved by practice to be in line with the national conditions and has important reference value for the development of professional boxing in China.On this basis,the study suggests: As the central conversion part of amateur boxing to professional boxing,from amateur to professional athletes "transformation" path shall be under the existing conditions and new opportunities to optimize-under the need of "honor" of the Olympic Games continue to grasp the development of amateur boxing,balance in amateur boxing development needs and professional boxing development prospect under the premise of encourage amateur boxing athletes to professional transformation actively,to spare as an important basis of professional boxing career development achievements,realize the athletes and amateur boxing career professional boxing career organic link,On the basis of the gradual increase of the number and scale of the athletes in the transformation,the development of amateur boxing and professional boxing,which were originally separated from each other,was promoted to realize the collaborative development of interaction and mutual promotion.
