According to the experimental draft of General High School Mathematics' New Curriculum Standards,there are six core qualities which are so important that the whole educational circles attach importance to them without doubt.As a key component of the six qualities,intuitive imagination has been the core teaching point all the time.What's more,it is a necessary ability that students have to master if they want to pass the college entrance examination successfully.In addition,the new curriculum reform pays much attention to the development and cultivation of student's innovative thinking as well as exploration ability,which puts forward higher requirements for both teachers and students.However,in my recent years' experiment of math teaching,I find that a large part of senior high students lack this kind of quality.That's why I choose the High School Students' Visual Imagination Ability and Teaching Strategy as my paper theme.Hope the research can help teachers grasp the level of student's intuition imagination more clearly.I really appreciate it if it can prompt teachers to think more about how to train student's geometry intuition ability.This paper adopts methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,data research and empirical induction.I take the ability of visual imagination as the research object,combining quantitative method with qualitative method to study the current level of senior high student's visual imagination.Basing my study,I put forward some teaching suggestions for the future training and promotion.My study on student's level of understanding and mastery about visual imagination in three schools shows that:1.The overall level of students in Changzhou isn't high,instead,the level is below the average.2.Teachers don't pay enough attention to the relative training about student's mathematics cognitive structure,and student's knowledge of mathematics isn't systematic,which cause student's knowledge structure tending to be fragmented.3.Lacking the cultivation of innovation ability,we teachers neglect the exploration of the essence of visual imagination ability,so now we should dig the relative information and knowledge.4.The teaching idea lags behind,and the teaching method is relatively single.Moreover,student's learning enthusiasm is weak.5.The ability of information technology application is poor,and many mathematics teachers cannot integrate the information technology with the specific subject content during the actual teaching period.Combining the investigation and interview with concrete cases,this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions on the cultivation and promotion of the intuitive imagination.
