The goal of the mathematics education curriculum in vocational schools is to not only complete the compulsory education,but also through the learning of related mathematics courses and the accumulation of core qualities of mathematics,to enable students to master the basic mathematics skills required for future work,and to have the ability to solve problems from a mathematical perspective.Therefore,the mathematics education of vocational school is very important for the employment of vocational school students.Abstract literacy is one of the important qualities of training students by vocational mathematics.However,the importance of abstract literacy in the mathematics teaching of vocational schools has been unsatisfactory.Many teachers do not know how to cultivate vocational students' the abstract literacy.Therefore,this article attempts to understand the problems in the training of mathematics abstract literacy of vocational students by investigating the status quo of mathematics abstract literacy of vocational students,and then proposes corresponding training strategies.This article qualitatively analyzes the current status of mathematics abstract literacy of vocational students by questionnaires,and quantitatively analyzes the status quo of mathematics abstract literacy of vocational students by measurement scales.Based on the vocational students' understanding of mathematics,the status of vocational students' mathematics learning methods,the status of vocational students' mathematical knowledge in practice,the survey of vocational students' adaptability to classes and teaching materials.There are also inadequate teacher cognition,lack of methods,limited studentbasement,and lack of interest.Therefore,the article also proposes the training strategy of mathematics abstract literacy for vocational students,including teachers should strengthen the discussion of curriculum standards and pay attention to process teaching,design teaching activities carefully,use questions to guide teaching and organize teaching activities.The strategies for students are giving students enough time for mathematical abstraction,allowing students to accumulate rich experience in mathematical abstraction,and paying attention to the logic of students in the process of abstraction.
