The high abstractness of mathematical objects is one of the three characteristics of mathematics.Since the Ministry of Education clearly put forward six core mathematics literacy,Chinese mathematics teaching has entered a new stage-mathematics core literacy teaching stage,which makes the road of mathematics education in China into a new era.Mathematics abstract literacy is listed as the first of the six mathematical subjects of core literacy,in the basic position,it can be seen that mathematical abstract literacy is very important.Although mathematics abstract literacy is mentioned in the high school curriculum standards,but the "compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition)" put forward 10 core words and high school 6 core literacy there is a correspondence,as junior high school mathematics teachers should also make efforts to train students in mathematics abstract literacy.Mathematics abstraction should not be the exclusive quality of high school students,it is also the basic quality that junior high school students should have.Therefore,in the middle school stage before the development of students' mathematical abstract literacy is very important,with the role of up and down.This study focuses on the following issues:1.What is the status quo of mathematical abstract literacy for students who are in junior high school?Is there any difference between the mathematical abstract literacy of male and female students?Is the math abstract literacy test scores of junior high school students related to math scores?2.What is the general situation of teachers cultivating students' mathematical abstract literacy?Teachers and students are two important basic elements in educational activities,and the present situation of teacher teaching and students' mathematics abstract literacy are the hot issues about core literacy at present.This study selected 3 classes from the third grade of J middle school to test the mathematical abstract literacy,through the paper and pen test to investigate the current situation of students,while X City junior high school mathematics teachers to conduct a questionnaire survey,to understand the current teachers in teaching to train students to cultivate the overall status of mathematical abstract literacy.Not only that,in order to improve the results of the investigation,the author chose to continue the case investigation,from the questionnaire to choose two teachers willing to accept the investigation,to observe the teaching process of the two teachers and interview the two teachers teaching situation,in order to improve the investigation.Through the data analysis,the author found that the sample students' mathematical literacy level is general,there is no significant difference between boys' and girls'mathematical abstract literacy,and the results of this mathematical abstract literacy test are positively related to the final math scores.The understanding of junior high school mathematics teachers to cultivate students' abstract mathematics literacy still needs to be improved.There are still problems in the evaluation of students' mathematical abstract literacy:most teachers have never evaluated students' level of mathematical abstraction,and even more have not thought about this problem;Therefore,junior high school mathematics teachers also need to strengthen the understanding of mathematical abstract literacy,pay attention to the educational value of mathematical abstract literacy.In cultivating students' mathematical abstract literacy,teachers should follow three principles:first,to allow time in teaching for students to think deeply in order to experience the process of mathematical abstraction,second,to train students' mathematical abstract literacy to do a good job of vertical convergence of different learning segments,and third,to train students' mathematical abstract literacy to do a good job of horizontal migration of different disciplines.The evaluation method of students' mathematical abstract literacy is diversity,not only focus on the process evaluation,but also focus on the evaluation of the results,so as to have an accurate assessment of the student's literacy level and effectively guide the teacher's mathematics abstract teaching.Understanding the training status quo of mathematics abstract literacy of junior high school students can effectively guide the training of students' core quality,and also let the high school mathematics teachers understand the current situation of mathematics abstract literacy before entering the high school stage,and effectively bridge the mathematics abstract teaching in the high school stage.
