STEM education,as an important way to improve the competitiveness of the country in the 21 st century,is constantly being recognized by countries around the world.As an important materialization carrier of STEM curriculum,how to effectively develop and promote it based on the national conditions is the current research hotspot.Since the implementation of the three-level curriculum management system for the new curriculum reform in 2001,regional curriculum development and promotion power has been reconfirmed.As a medium-level curriculum development and promotion platform,the existence and rationality of the region has been confirmed in practice,but few people have studied the development and promotion of STEM curriculum from a regional perspective.Therefore,in the context of the reform of the basic education curriculum,this study is accompanied by a strong call for a balanced development of education in the society,and it is to study the regional promotion strategies for the development of primary school STEM curriculum.This study uses literature analysis to review the literature and related theories and research on STEM courses and regional curriculum advancement.Then,N district of Chongqing was selected as the case area.The questionnaire survey method and interview method were used to investigate the development of STEM courses in N district.The status and problems of regional advancement,and based on this,a strategy for regional advancement of STEM curriculum development is proposed.This article is divided into the following six parts:Part I: Introduction.This section mainly explains the origin of the research on the regional advancement strategy of STEM curriculum development in primary schools,the research status of STEM curriculum development and regional curriculum advancement at home and abroad,the definition of core concepts,the research goals and significance,the research problems and ideas,the research methods and the choice of research objects..The second part is to analyze the motivation and connotative characteristics of the advancement of the STEM curriculum development area in primary schools.This section analyzes and interprets the two concepts of STEM curriculum development and regional curriculum advancement.It summarizes that the characteristics of STEM curriculum development are interdisciplinary,coherent and regional.The characteristics of regional curriculum advancement are the integrity of curriculum planning.,The effectiveness of mechanism guarantees,the openness of communication platforms,the characteristics of regional courses,and the dynamics of course advancement.The third part is the principle of promoting the development of STEM curriculum in primary schools.This part sorts out the relevant institutional basis for the regional curriculum advancement of primary school STEM curriculum development,profoundly interprets the primary school STEM curriculum development under the three-level curriculum management system,and sorts out the analysis of regional curriculum advancement based on current scholars' research on regional curriculum advancement.Elements,to build the content system of the "four forces model" for the promotion of the STEM curriculum development area,and use this as the theoretical analysis framework of this article.The fourth part is the investigation and design of the current status of regional advancement of STEM curriculum development.This section mainly explains the research design of this study.Summarize the current situation of cases in N area,and construct a dimensional analysis framework of survey questionnaires and interview outlines: theoretical understanding,practical experience,implementation effect,problem analysis,and conditional requirements.The fifth part is the status quo and problem analysis of the regional promotion of STEM curriculum development in primary schools.This section clarifies the current situation and problems of STEM curriculum development in primary schools in N districts by coding and collating questionnaire data and interview data.The sixth part is the promotion strategy of STEM curriculum development in elementary schools.In this section,the current status and problems of the promotion of primary school STEM curriculum development area are investigated.According to the theoretical analysis framework constructed in this study,the four main bodies of the primary school STEM curriculum development area—government,professional organization,school and society,are divided into different levels Propose the regional advancement strategy of STEM curriculum development in primary school and pertinently,and form a course area promotion path with "four cases" as the starting point.
