With the continuous deepening of the basic education curriculum reform,the integration of the curriculum has become the development trend of basic education curriculum reform at home and abroad.How to integrate the curriculum effectively and integrated is a hot issue for the current education researchers.STEM(Science,Technology,Engineering,Mathematics is the acronym for four English words).Education is an interdisciplinary education based on science,technology,engineering,and mathematics education.It is a comprehensive education that integrates four major areas.Although STEM education has made great progress in countries such as the United States,China's STEM education is still in its infancy.After studying a large number of documents,the author designed and built a basic model of elementary practice STEM science curriculum,in order to provide new ideas for the construction of China's STEM education theory system.First of all,through a large number of domestic and foreign related literature research,the present situation of STEM education research was combed and summarized.Secondly,after analyzing the primary school science curriculum standards,the comprehensive practical activities curriculum guidance guidelines and teaching status in primary and secondary schools,and in order to solve the problems of science education and comprehensive practical curriculum issues,the elementary school synthesis was constructed on the basis of researching the engineering design process and 5E teaching methods.Practice STEM science course QCE model.Its essence is to define a problem through engineering projects.Throughout the process,students go through design,modeling,test optimization,data collection,and data analysis.In the process of completing the project,they are effectively learning to apply science,technology,engineering,and mathematics knowledge.A combination of formative and summative evaluations was made on the overall project results.The practice data shows that the QCE teaching model can improve the students' enthusiasm for learning,exercise and develop students' relevant STEM abilities and attitudes,and can play a positive role in cultivating students' STEM literacy.Above the classroom,students' main position can be highlighted.Children's curiosity and curiosity are protected during the inquiry-based learning process,and students' practical ability,collaboration ability,and innovation ability are effectively exercised.It is hoped that this study will better promote the integration of STEM education into China's science education and bring new conditions for the reform of China's science practice curriculum.
