The emergence of hot education issues in recent years has aroused the concern and reflection of the whole society on family education and school-family partnerships.Education has never been exclusive to schools. As far as the current "tackling poverty" is concerned, education,as an important strategy for solving poverty,is inseparable from the teachers' attention and the initiative of parents.Based on this background, this study went deep into a certain area in the west, and took middle school students in this area as the survey object to explore the relationship between the family 's socioeconomic status, parental involvement, and reading literacy.Specifically, this research is based on the Ecological Systems Theory and Overlapping Spheres of Influence, and uses this to build a research framework for a series of research and analysis.First, develop a questionnaire.Perform item analysis on the collected data and use this as a basis to understand the relevance of each questionnaire. Then use exploratory factor analysis to further explore the dimensions and clarify the items. After this analysis,a reliability and validity analysis was conducted, and the results showed that the questionnaire had high reliability and validity. Finally, through a confirmatory analysis, explore the structure validity of the questionnaire.Through the analysis of the above steps,we finally got good reliability and validity, and parents with five sub-dimensions participated in the questionnaire. The five dimensions are: home monitoring, learning assistance,parent-child activities, emotional support, and parent-school contact.Second, perform basic statistical analysis.Descriptive and differential analysis of variables to understand the status of each variable in the household. As far as education is concerned,it is concentrated in primary school education. As far as occupations are concerned, the occupation of the parents is a farmer, which occupies most of the entire occupational status.Household ownership is mostly low.As far as parent participation is concerned, parents rarely adopt parent-child activities, learning assistance, and parentschool contact in the process of educating their children. In comparison, the two methods of emotional support and home monitoring take more. The academic proficiency level is relatively high.As for the results of the difference analysis, male students' participation in parent-school contact,parent-child activities, and learning assistance was significantly higher than that of female students. There were no significant differences in other participation methods and other demographic variables. The reading literacy of female students is significantly higher than that of male students. The reading literacy of nononly children is significantly higher than that of only-child children.Non-left-behind students have better reading literacy than the left-behind students.Thirdly,it carries out intermediary analysis and explores the impact of parent participation in various dimensions.Construct the structural equation model and pass the model test,on this basis, use Bootstrap analysis technology to test the mediation effect. The specific results show that in the path of education level, the mediator effect of home monitoring, learning assistance is significant. The mediating effects of emotional support in parent career and family ownership are significant.Based on this,we further explore the effects of parent participation in all dimensions, and the largest effect on children's reading literacy the participation method of counseling, followed by the emotional support.Based on the results of this analysis, provide more scientific and effective guidance for the choice of parent participation methods. Finally,a case analysis is performed. Two individuals were selected from the top, middle, and lowest individuals in this group's secondary school performance, and parents were contacted through the class teacher. Finally, one student with high school, low school performance, and one student were selected for in-depth interviews.Specifically, they have made in-depth exchanges with parents and teachers from the three aspects of the attention of children's education investment, the choice of parent participation methods, and the development of home-school dialogues, and analyze and explore the cultural policy background.Based on the conclusions of the study and the background of social and cultural policies, corresponding suggestions are made.At the macro level, attention is paid to policy formulation and implementation guarantees;at the meso level,multi-party joint education is advocated;at the micro level, attention is given to the comprehensive development of individual growth.Specifically,at the macro level, formulate relevant policies and regulations to support vulnerable groups;establish family education norms to promote the scientificization of family education;modify and improve the training goals, and focus on the comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, and physical education. On the meso level, families enrich educational resources and focus on ways of participating;schools create an equal atmosphere and actively focus on listening;communities carry out public welfare activities and focus on universal education. Finally,in terms of the individual micro-level of students, they must be good at expressing listening and maintaining a good physical and mental state;correct learning attitudes and cultivate good habits.
