Research On Historical Materialism Education Of College Students In The New Era

Since the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),general secretary Xi Jinping has stressed on many occasions that we should adhere to the Marxist position and view and analyze social and historical issues from the perspective of dialectical materialism and historical materialism.As the main body of youth in the new era,college students are the future of a country and the hope of a nation.To establish a correct view of history is the need of college students to resist and oppose the erosion of wrong ideas such as historical nihilism,their own growth and success,and to promote the construction of the motherland.Historical materialism education is an educational process of historical knowledge and historical materialism principle to the members of the society through various forms of educational content and methods in the country or society ruled by the proletariat.Its purpose is to improve the quality of all the members of society and establish historical thinking and correct historical view.Strengthening college students' historical materialism education in the new era is an important content to improve college students' comprehensive quality,an urgent requirement to enhance national cohesion,and an inevitable requirement of the development of The Times.Marxist classical writers,and theoretical achievements of Marxism historical materialism basic principle,in order to strengthen the new era of college students' historical materialism education laid a solid theoretical basis.On the basis of in-depth understanding and research of the basic principles of historical materialism,this paper sorts out and analyzes the characteristics of historical nihilism and revivalism,and then summarizes the harm of erroneous ideological trend to college students,which points out the direction for strengthening the education of college students' historical materialism in the new era.Through the questionnaire survey of the status quo of historical materialism education of some college students in Qingdao,it is found that contemporary college students have a strong sense of historical materialism and can realize the important role of historical materialism education in their life path.However,some college students have some problems,such as weak consciousness of historical materialism,insufficient understanding of historical nihilism,and incomplete understanding of the harm of wrong ideological trend such as historical nihilism.These problems are caused by many reasons,including the negative function of the market economy,the impact of erroneous ideological trend,the confusion of negative information on the Internet,the lag of family education concept,the unscientific content of family education,the need to improve school historical materialism education and the lack of historical knowledge of college students.Based on the analysis of these reasons,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions from the following four aspects to strengthen college students' historical materialism education in the new era.First of all,we should take school education as the main body,give play to the role of the main channel of historical materialism education in ideological and political theory course,and play the role of the hidden curriculum of historical materialism education through "curriculum ideology".Secondly,it should be based on family education,mainly including family history inheritance in the materialist view of history education and family style culture in the materialist view of history education;Then,it should be supplemented by social education and play the leading role of mainstream media historical materialism education.Finally,the self-education of college students is carried out by setting up the correct view of history and world,broadening the historical horizon and strengthening the ability to resist the wrong ideological trend.
