Before the cyber public sphere became popular, the so-called "hate" phenomenon had the nature of "discrimination, exclusion" created by prejudice against minority groups in history. In comparison, the hateful behavior of the online space today has been formed as a culture along with other characteristics of online communication. In those types of communication, motive and target of the communication can be characterized by features like "othering" and "attention economy" as well as aggressive behavior. In this investigation, conducted an anthropological analysis of Korean online subculture through the analysis method of online news morphemes by Big Kines.and used surveys and in-depth interviews with young people in their 20 s,using online communication theory and Juergen Habermas' s public sphere theory as a tool.According to the results of the analysis, the difference in opinions between men and women is based on the background gap between today's women's preferential policies and the time in the past when women's human rights were not guaranteed. This served as the basis for the hate culture. Moreover, the difficulty of finding a job and the lack of tenacity in competition were regarded as problems of the social system, leading to conflicts among each social stratum, which led to the formation and spread of hate culture.Especially, starting with the emergence of extremist sites like ‘Ilbe',the target of hate was directed at women, and the emergence of female chauvinism sites intensified mutual conflict.Subsequently, the hateful violent crime occurred, which led to the fear of “Hate” among young people in the entire society, even beyond online space. On the other hand, although the majority of young people said it was pointless to distinguish between online and real society when talking about the hate culture. However, surveys of hate experience showed that respondents have never experienced such a stark expression of online "hate" in their offline life.It also showed that they are under a lot of restrictions and stress on their daily behavior, unlike thinking that 'hate expressions are serious, but the impact on them is not significant to me.' The attitudes of young people showed the characteristics of psychological factors such as statistical discrimination, the third-person effect, and band wagon effect. These social and personal factors are the fundamental causes of young people's failure to properly lead the function of the cyber public sphere and sustain the hate culture.
