Research On Reform And Development Of Specialist Schools Oriented By The Lawrelated Education

A specialist school is a specialized place for the education and correction of minors with serious ill behavior.It implements both basic education and corrective education,with the important goal of preventing juvenile delinquency.However,in practice,the convergence of education in vocational schools with that in ordinary middle schools or vocational and technical schools has caused vocational schools to deviate from the legal position and lose the functions of correcting students' ill behaviors and preventing juvenile delinquency.In view of this,on the basis of reviewing the historical process of vocational schools and analyzing the development status of vocational schools,this article proposes the general idea of reforming vocational schools oriented by the lawrelated education and proposes corresponding reform paths and specific implementation measures.This article is divided into four parts:The first part introduces the history and development status of vocational schools: After three periods of establishment,re-establishment and improvement,vocational schools formed a special education system with education and correction as its core functions.In general,the current enrollment group is relatively wide,including students with minor criminal acts,serious or general ill behavior;sufficient teachers,but lack of professionalism of teachers;rich teaching content,mainly focusing on cultural courses and vocational technology Curriculum;teaching methods are more diverse,paying more attention to the use of teaching methods such as group cooperation.The second part analyzes the main problems and reform directions of vocational schools: vocational schools show a tendency to develop to ordinary middle schools and vocational and technical schools,which deviates from the legal positioning.Adopting a teaching mode similar to that of ordinary middle schools or vocational and technical schools will lead to a lack of corrective functions;ignoring the corrective actions of minors' serious ill behaviors may cause a gap in the prevention of minors' crime system and lay hidden social dangers.In view of this,the law-related education should be taken as the starting point,and the law-related education should be independent of basic education,so as to return to its legal position and give full play to its corrective function to achieve the purpose of preventing juvenile delinquency.The third part clarifies the reform path of the specialist school oriented by the lawrelated education: setting up a separate law-related education curriculum,developing school-based courses,ensuring teaching hours,and constructing an independent lawrelated education curriculum system;strengthening the recruitment and training of law education teachers,and training Professional teachers of law-related education,build a dedicated teaching staff;design a targeted evaluation system of law-related education to improve the quality of law-related education;strengthen campus culture,establish a sense of rule by law,enrich the education venue of law-related,and add elements of law-related education,Create a good atmosphere for the law-related education.The fourth part proposes the reform measures of specialist schools oriented by the law-related education: based on the compilation of teaching materials for the lawrelated education and supplementing other teaching materials;deepening the teaching content of the law-related education,focusing on administrative and criminal law teaching,and taking into account the constitution,Civil law teaching;expanding the teaching methods of the law-related education,and using specific methods such as situational simulation teaching methods,case study methods,and value discrimination methods;actively carrying out legal rule practice activities,strengthening home-school cooperation,infiltrating mental health education,and carrying out corrections in various aspects.
