The world health organization announces that 60% of each one’s health and life depends on the attitude to life and health behaviors. And adolescence at the middle school stage is the critical period for personal character, cognitive behavior and world outlook formation and is also a critical period of growth and development. However, as people’s living standard rise, many labels, such as “unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, smoking and drinking” are frequently given to adolescents. For these labels, all sorts of related behavior problems of adolescent students also cause the various aspects of attention of the nation and the society; while there is quite few behavior investigation researches on the minority students since most of the research objects are the Han nationality students and the region, for the of is still very lacking. In the thesis, based on this, 1188 middle school adolescent students of Xibo nationality in Cha County, Xinjiang and Paiwan in Pingtung County, Taiwan from six grades and at two learning stages are selected as the research objects; their dining, exercise-related behaviors and the impact are surveyed. The results of the survey are as follows:1. The adolescent of Xibo nationality in Xinjiang and Paiwan in Taiwan are mainly aged from 13 to 18; their parents’ education degree is mainly concentrated in middle school; their family types are mainly the nuclear family; most of the students don’t live in the campus; their school record is at the secondary level. The great gap between self-description weight and BMI is mainly concentrated in the “over light” and “obesity” groups; per capita income is big at both ends but small in the middle.2. The report rate in “often eating fruits and vegetables and drinking milk” of Xibo Nationality ones is higher than that of Paiwan; while the report rate in “often having breakfast and not partial eclipse” of Paiwan ones is higher than that of Xibo nationality ones; the report rate in “often having dessert, and western-style fast food” of Paiwan ones is higher than that of Xibo nationality ones; the report rate in “often eating fried food” of Xibo nationality ones is higher than that of Paiwan ones; the report rate in “diet, fasting, vomiting and taking diet pills” of Cibo nationality ones is higher that of Paiwan ones; the report rate in “often do sports, exercise and physical exercise after class” of Paiwan one is higher than that of Xibo nationality one; the report rate in “often doing aerobic exercise” of Xibo nationality ones is higher than that of Paiwan ones; the report rate in “try smoking, smoking now and serious smoking, smoking before the age of 13” of Paiwan ones is higher than that of Xibo nationality ones; the report rate in “drinking now, serious drinking, drunkness, drinking alcohol before the age of 13” of Paiwan ones is higher than that of Xibo nationality ones; there are significant difference between different ethnic groups.3. The demographic characteristics of behaviors associated with diet and exercise of Xinjiang Xibo nationality and Taiwan Paiwan adolescent mainly include healthy diet behaviors, and weight loss(weight) behavior as well as good exercise behavior and they are positively correlated with demographic characteristics, and vice versa.Adolescent should be supported to set up health(diet and exercise) behavior concept leading by the government, safeguarded by laws and promoted by media propaganda supplemented by family and coordinated by communities.
