In the new era,the sports industry in China has ushered in unprecedented development opportunities. As a pioneer in reform and opening up and developed private economy province, the development of Zhejiang's sports industry has been at the forefront of the country with its own characteristics. In recent years, various sports industry associations at all levels in Zhejiang have been established. They are now playing an increasingly important role in integrating resources of all sides, building bridges between government and enterprises, participating in industry internal governance, and maintaining the macro-environment required for the healthy and stable development of the sports industry. However, for a long time, the country's government administration system for industry associations has been "hindering" the further development of such associations. The sports industry associations in Zhejiang are also facing arduous challenges under the current overall decoupling reform. The thesis adopts research methods of literature review, interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and logical analysis and takes the sports industry associations in Zhejiang Province as the research object. The research proceeds from the basic conditions, decoupling progress, personnel appointments, financial situations, member characteristics, satisfaction index, and therefore systematically analyzes the current situations of the interviewed sports industry associations. On the basis of the above research findings, the author accordingly puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for such associations' future sustainable development from the aspects of government level, sports industry association and social forces.
