"China Enterprise Growth Report 2019" points out that all industries in China are facing the problem of rapid decline in growth rate,and how to improve the profitability of enterprises has become an urgent priority for enterprises to solve.In traditional Chinese society,the idea that "interpersonal relationship is the vein of money" motivates managers to be keen on the construction of social circles.But social circles sometimes improve and sometimes lower corporate performance.What are the reasons for this phenomenon? How can managers use social circles to continuously improve corporate performance?To solve this problem,the research logic of "resource acquisition-resource utilization-enterprise performance" is put forward.Taking 210 middle-level and above enterprise managers in economically active regions and sub-active regions as the research objects,the research data were obtained by questionnaire and interview,and the mechanism model of managers' social network's influence on enterprise performance with resource pooling as the intermediary variable and strategic coordination as the moderator variable was verified.Through the analysis of the empirical test results,the paper puts forward some Suggestions to improve the performance of enterprises.The specific conclusions are as follows :(1)the mechanism model of the effect of managers' social network on enterprise performance is established from the perspective of resource view.In the model,the role of long-term resource utilization-strategic coordination and short-term resource utilization-resource patchwork is considered,and the reasons for the inconsistent influence of managers' social network on enterprise performance are explored.(2)Verify the "indirect mechanism" of managers' social network on enterprise performance.Through empirical test,it is concluded that the proportion of managers' social network that positively influences enterprise performance through resource pooling accounts for nearly 40% of the total effect,which answers the question of how managers' social network improves enterprise performance.(3)Verify the "matching effect" and "interval effect" of strategic coordination on resource patchwork.It is found that the inherent limitation of "original plan" of enterprise resource utilization on "breaking original plan" is broken when strategic coordination reaches a very good level.Therefore,strategic coordination is the key to determine the improvement or reduction of enterprise performance.(4)This paper explores the influence of control variables on the action mechanism of "managers' social network-enterprise performance".Through the empirical test,it is found that there is a "stage effect" on "managers' social network-Enterprise performance" at the stage of enterprise development,while there is no difference in the influence of managers' social network on enterprise performance between different ownership and industry properties.(5)It reminds enterprise managers to make rational use of managers' social network to improve enterprise performance.Starting from the three aspects that affect enterprise performance,this paper reminds enterprise managers to build a good social network,rationally use resources to make a piece together and improve strategic coordination,so as to achieve the purpose of rationally using "social circle" to increase enterprise profits.
